@1wayDrell I'm glad u said that. Both my parents r Jamaican and u right but u wrong. Jamaicans did bring it to Florida but Miami in particular. When Jamaicans started migrating here in mass, it was only 2 places they went, was Miami and NYC that's it. So when they came to Florida they came Miami and Lauderdale first, then later started going different parts. So it was the Miami Garden Jamaican american jits who was rocking wicks and thugging and then they american homie stared rocking em. Then Miami never niggas stared hitting the road in 80s and 90s going to different parts spreading the culture and style, I been to all parts of Florida niggas really just started rocking wicks 5 to 10 ago, except Jacksonville, Tampa, and fort myers

@@MrRottoro yeah ik im just saying jamaicans was da ones dat put wicks in fl cuz some niggss think haitians started em or think dat fl always rocked wicks. im from tally and seen some dudes wit wicks back in the 90’s and early 2000’s here but it definitely wasn’t as popular wit da jits unless they was jamaican. but it aint spread fully to da americans until kodak blew up and started influencing dem
