All the younger fans here, Foyt was not mentioned much. Check out all he accomplished. Not only could he drive, he could fix what he drove. He would drive sprint cars the night before the Indy 500, and walk across the street the next day and win at Indy. The old fair grounds track was across the street from the speedway. AJ could drive anything, any time and win.

Foyt>Andretti. Foyt could run with the top NASCAR guys. I even think he would have won the 1972 championship if he had been more committed. Mario just lucked out in F1 (Lotus was far ahead that year) and didn't really do NASCAR, and he never won Le Mans. Foyt won Lemans in his only outing there. Plus, of course, AJ was more successful in Indycars. I wish he got into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. To me, Foyt is #1 in US motorsports.

Gonna be really cool to see how Larson performs at Indy. Also it would be cool now that Chevy, Corvette Racing, and Pratt & Miller making a GT3 spec Corvette C8 and allowing for customer teams in every series running GT3s like IMSA, GTWC, NLS, now WEC, and hell even DTM at some point and running races like Daytona, Sebring, Spa, Nurburgring, and now Le Mans it would be pretty cool to see a Hendrick Motorsports Corvette Z06 GT3 in at least IMSA. Even if it’s just one entry. Could even for Daytona run a second entry and possibly could be an all NASCAR driver lineup from either all Hendrick drivers or all Chevy drivers. Like imagine a second car entry for the Rolex 24 with driver lineup like Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, and Zane Smith, for example.

Why do we forget Jimmy Johnson as The Greatest NASCAR driver his record is five championships in a row plus two more that ties Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt that's something yet that Kyle Larson has to attempt to be successful at has he won five championships has he won seven how are we so quick to judge him as the greatest driver of all times when there's two other drivers out there that have far surpassed him as he won 200 races in his career like Richard Petty a feat that will never be probably duplicated and we say well that's because we don't run 200 races a year well we're talking in a career maybe let's jump off the Larson bandwagon and look realistically at the time he's racing in and let's not forget that there were other people that have came before him that have set the bar pretty high for him to accomplish to then call him the goat I would say no matter what Jimmy Johnson is doing now he's the goat and so is the king we called him the King Richard Petty seven championships Larson has how many hold my beer😂
