Ladies, I started a Meetup group in my area. Getting ppl to skate is hard, it is intimidating I am told by skaters esp 50 and over. I’ve also met young skaters who find skating with others intimidating. It is hard trying to get ppl who want to skate actually get out and skate. I’m 58 and skate on my own bc I need the practice and love it. I’m not going to wait around for anyone when I have headphones and an neighborhood outdoor rink, trail or beach bike path.
