Read your owners manual. 4500 is over pressure. Keep gauge out of the red zone. Read your manual!

That gun only fills to 3200...

Thanks Jeremiah, guess we now know backing out the valve spring adjustment nut doesn’t do much

Around 150 bar is about the max pressure you want on the reg. The hammer is not heavy enough to overcome the force required to open the valve with enough dwell time to raise the fps. On my highly modified 25 max, I’m sending 33.95 jsb’s down range at 945-950fps with 148 bar on the reg and hammer spring one turn in from flush.

Change the spring like he said. Smaller diameter wire same length or a little longer. That does make a difference. I question filling to 4500. Don't think that is correct. I think those are a 3625 250 bar max fill.

They are, I did mine as an experiment. Also I believe I mention it in the beginning of the episodes what you are supposed to fill to. I have since lowered it down.

So at this point what your recommendations to pop this up to run a little heavier without having to make any major changes or disassembly what’s your best recommendations to get that little extra out of it to push the heavy pellets?
@themichiganoutdoorsman Жыл бұрын
So you can adjust the hammer spring tension by removing the stock, loosening the 2mm screw that locks the hammer in place, and adjust the spring in and out to get maximum velocity. I did this in my first video on the JTS called “how much power can this make”(episode two) but the real big change was when I adjusted the regulator. (Episode three in the JTS playlist.)

Would you recommend this gun or a airforce condor in 25 for power and accuracy.?
@themichiganoutdoorsman Жыл бұрын
When it comes to power, the Air Force condor seems to be the clear winner, but like all Air Force guns, it does not have a regulator or a magazine, which really sucks for a fast follow up shot or consistent accurate shooting because essentially you will have a shot curve on that rifle where you can get X amount of shots that are accurate before they start to fall off in accuracy because of the unregulated system whereas the JTS AirAcuda max has a regulator that is adjustable so you can get more power out of it, but it is still kind of a slouch. you got 20 shots per fill is about the best I could do with the stock set up and get 2-10 round mags. Both guns are going to be built extremely well but when it comes to power and accuracy, each of them has their own limitations. Have you looked at the Benjamin Gunnar in 25 caliber? And quite honestly the Umarex gauntlet second GEN .25 caliber is very hard to beat for the price and the power. Accuracy is incredible. I’m not trying to talk you off of either your guns, but after getting mine finally broke in I am very impressed with it. On a full fill get over 70+ shots that are still regulated.

Thinking of buying one of these rifles,or air arms s400 around the same price, would you recommend one?

I haven’t had a chance to review the air arms s400 but I know I do like my JTS AirAcuda Max. Maybe someday I can get some channel sponsors

You really don't mind taking chances with your life. The gun is only supposed to be filled to about 3200 ps. I and the reg should probably never be over. About a 150 to 160 bar it's not designed for what you are doing
