you are a gift from God.. your video for printer dis assembly is the top I have watched, thank you. But wait .. this makes the error "close ink cartridge cover/034503" a little bit weird since there is no sensor related with that. Can you please give some light on the error? again more power... thank you

Yes. It is at the beginning, after power on, right? The CR is trying to move to the left but is stopped by something. Therefore the printer thinks the cartridge cover is open and caught. However, the problem is more likely underneath.

If you see the pump unit, there is a piece of white plastic. I call it a "switch stick." It controls a switch that determines which nozzle column gets cleaned. The whole unit will raise when the gear is in a certain combination. If your gear is out of sync, the pump unit is not lowered, thus obstructing the movement of the CR. The whole purpose of raising the unit is for the printhead to slide the stick into another slot and press the switch below. If the unit is raised, but the printhead is moving, you will have a problem. Pay attention to exactly when the CR stops on error, and start figuring out what the pump unit's position should be. Then you can back-track and correct the problem.

Anyways I could not figure it out, I have replace the inkpump assembly but it it did not work out. Then I have a solution at that time I transfered the board to a different unit with the head.. now its having CRCM motor error lol. guess no luck. lol.. Again, thank you and more power. Sooo close :(. I pulled out 2 parts from back of printer by mistake when trying to pull out to clear a jam (there’s never jammed paper, it just makes me pull part of the back out and push it back in every time I try to print) and have no clue now how these two parts go together or back into the printer. I think this video touched on almost every part of the printer except these. But good video for anyone working on other parts.

I have an epson ET m1120 ECOTANK. I want to seek the following solution. I would like to replace the inkt inside with special stencal inkt. How could I proceed to remove the existing inkt in the ecotank and fill it with the special stencil inkt? I think that I should see if i can remove the tank and turn upside down, if possible. What I have tried so far is insering a seringe to see if i could vacum the inkt out. But the needle wont go through, and I dont want to force it. Any advice and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks your look video! Is it possible to fix the error code 0x4D for WF-2661 ? It shows after the forced took out paper sheet from ADF due to the too thick thickness of the paper and seem to be jammed. Can I just cu off the ADF function?

Good video Kevin! What if you replace the encoder strip and you still have a probem? The carriage goes to the left side, stops, then travels until it makes a screeching sound. restarting the printer does nothing. What Next do I look at??

Kevin, do you have a disassembly procedure for Epson ET-4700? I had to disconnect the cables from the mainboard that connect to the scanner assembly so I could remove the scanner assembly from the rest of the printer. I am trying to reattach the scanner assembly but cannot determine where some of the cables connect to the mainboard. Do you have pictures or drawings of the cable paths to the mainboard or a complete disassembly procedure for this printer? James B.

Thank you for subscribing to my channel. No, it's built in one piece. If your printer doesn't have any electronic issues, just physical issues such as dried printhead, you can keep it running and use the scanner.

Hello Kevin, I just found your great channel. I am searching for a solution to a no-start problem with my ET-2550 printer after removing, flushing and replacing the printer head. The printer started the boot up process then quit part way through and went dead. The cables are fine and power is to the socket. I tried unpluging and waiting an hour then holding the power button down 10 seconds. No Go. I am stumped as what to do next. I assume it is an electronic failure a short or something but assume there is no fuse. Any suggestion might help. Maybe I managed to kill the mother board some way!

I have Epson WF-7715, problem I am having is it when I print a page it prints that page fine but after that it keeps pulling in pages and throwing them out until it empties the whole paper tray. Don't know what is causing this problem. If there are any papers in the tray and I switch it off it pulls the paper and leave it in the middle then it gets switched OFF. Any help will be highly appreciated.
