Any idea what needs to be disassembled to change the front oil seal in an mf 50a backhoe?

Are you referring to the engine oil seal at the front of the motor?

Yes that’s correct

⁠@@neilmortimer112 The entire front end has to come off with the wheels as it’s all bolted directly to the front of the engine. That’s the only way to access the front seal. It’s quite a large job. You would almost need another machine or a crane to do it. The boom can simply be raised up and out of the way and locked in that position, or removed completely.
