On the point of VR, I watched a video long back about VR journalism, where people were shown the reports of war ravaged countries in VR. Almost all of the participants were in tears when they saw it. I really do think there's a lot of value to be had in thoughtful VR experiences like ZZT4.

Its been a while since I've played Kyoei Toshi but I remember there were like two levels about delivering the Disaster Report 4 game to someone(maybe the director?) in like the Tokyo Sky Tree. I didnt utilize the Hikiko Method at the time so maybe I'm wrong but I could have sworn something like this happens.

Man I remember when I was 14 looking for ps2 games where "decisions matter" and found these gems and fell in love with them by far raw danger is my favorite ps2 game so glad the new is coming to the west

Sorta on topic but that Kaiju game reminds me of this game that was supposed to come out in like 2008 called Greyshot. I think it was gonna be a HL2 mod or something, but it was supposed to be heavily inspired by Cloverfield (which as you remember, was big deal in late 2007/early 2008). Turns out the thing was a scam apparently and nearly and all the dev blogs and most of it's existence was wiped off the internet. Still, I think a horror game in this style but with monsters out of something like The Most instead of Kaiju would be some great nightmare fuel. I have always meant to check out the first game, but I keep forgetting to. Might have to change that soon. Great video, yet again!

I played this game earlier this month and used google translate as well. I also got stuck for like an hour at the train station. Thats pretty cool. I just ordered a copy of disaster report 3 and cant wait to try it.

Always loved the franchise. Played the 2 available games in the West. Kept asking the devs for a European/American release of the 4th game! It is finally happening! I'm very happy for this! Now, if they can also release a remastered trilogy of the first 3 games, that would be so amazing!

The original ZZT4 for the ps3 was going to get cancelled anyway since it has a pretty troubled development from the beginning, the earthquake only made things worse Funfact:the story in zzt3 is actually set in march 11 2011 which is kinda creepy since that game is released in 2009

This game looks super interesting in my opinion. I've never heard of it until now and I have to say, this is probably my top 1 upcoming game so far. It a so different from every other game and I'm huge on open world games. Idk how the game plays, but i hope its like survival where you go around gathering and saving people.

Disaster Report 4 might be the most important game of 2020. You can learn a lot about surviving in a Pandemic from it and it's a great game to play while in quarantine.

I just found out about this game! And i fucking love it so much. I just love survival games and i think zombies and monsters and spirits are getting stale. But this is such a good refresh to the horror/survival genre. I just WISH it was at least 1-2 or 1-4 players that would be so cool

That might happen, but take it with a grain of salt, Disaster Report 4 has broken the tradition of the DR games being exclusives to the PlayStation Consoles, as it is getting a Nintendo Switch Port. Maybe one day, we will see the games come onto the PC. Disaster Report 4 would be the easiest to port, as it is made in Unreal Engine 4 thus, needed PC Controls as well as PS4 controls to debug the game before they implemented the PS4 Controls
