That Dairy Queen down the street was my Little Leauge sponsor as a kid in the 70s.

I remember this area so much, I used to ride my bike along there, going south to Ridge Road. There were 2 movie theaters up there. I remember when the Dairy Queen first opened. Early 1950s

I appreciate that very much Eric. It’s been almost 8 years of filming and now everything is starting to catch on. It’s because of good people like yourself and I want you to know I appreciate you very much.

Wow freaky in the back. Looks like another one about to be bulldozed. Time to rebuild the city the schematic of grid streets is there.
@TheSteelCityStormАй бұрын
What’s going on Big J my man? You are not lying. It is a huge mess. It’s hard to believe that building is still standing,you are right it’s good spot. Do something different with it with all the street grids right there would be very smart

I do not blame you. I moved away a couple times and ended up moving back for personal and family reasons and I guess this is where I’ll always be.

It is very sad that they just let these places sit forever like this. Thank you for your support and I hope you enjoyed the video. 🫵❤️😉⛈️‼️

Yo steel storm ⛈️ great job on video as always bro 😎 I always suggest asking the current mayor for help but that I don’t think would do any good either .probably Daffy Duck 🦆 or bugs bunny 🐰 can run the town better than the people who are running it now , other than that keep up the good work as always steel storm 😊

I’m with you on that brother Eric I’ve given up on the city officials they do not care. They are just in it for that bag. If you know what I’m saying. The sad thing that bothers me is they don’t mind watching their whole city crumble while they sit in their nice homes and brand new cars that part bothers me. Like he said Daffy duck or Donald Duck would probably be a better mayor than half of these people it’s clear they do not care about cleaning up the community or how people see it. The only time they care is when money is involved.

Wasn't the Dunes Tap in that area? I know it was north of Ridge road on the west side of the street. Had my first beer in a bar there, illegal of course, fake ID. 1969.
@TheSteelCityStormАй бұрын
Yes, I remember the dunes tap. It’s been so long but I’m pretty sure it was on 37th Ave. We used to go to Paradise lounge and KND lounge. And as far as Miller went, we would visit thumbs up flamingos, and the Aetna alibi

That DQ had the best chocolate malts. Not shakes but malts . I can't believe this. Liberally makes me sick
