Glad to see this come out in the end. Such an insane amount of grinding needed for this and its cool that you can beat it at level 1 a lot of rpgs would make that impossible because every enemy would just one shot you. Looking forward to part 3.

there's many Gelnika planes. The part where Cloud says "the" is a mistranslation, there is no distinction between "a" or "the" in Japanese except through a context sensitive point of grammar (a sentence denoting Gelnika with a がparticle) that I suspect didn't exist in the original Japanese dialogue. I'm doing a playthrough in Japanese with my Japanese study group, but after months of playing we only made it to Kalm haha

Everytime i re experience ffvii it becomes more of an existential nightmare and a challenge on forming ones identiy. Also i may have never seen the real Gast tapes (i had to deal with the shitty American localization) but the straightforward explanation by Ifalna of what JENOVA gave them is so similar to the venom social media and the government injects us with, each and every day. And all this fucking gas lighting. I'm hitting 35 now and nowadays, this and Silent Hill surpasses ResiEvil and slashers, as the most genuine horror experiences, man. (Maria probably took notes from Sephy on gaslighting, lmfao)

cursed ring provides +35 magic and attack.. +10 luck, and then +15 to all other stats. it works amazing with Tifas powersoul weapon since it gives you a death sentence at the start of each battle. there is some fun tech to play around with to make death sentence nullified as well but thank you for uploading disk 2 of this run, i love this game. and cant wait for the finally. out of curiosity have you ever played Vagrant Story? or Alundra (the first one) id love to see you do a run on the channel

I STILL ONLY fight the 1st DISC 2 boss WITH Cloud Barret Cid lv 55 with 9999 HP 999 MP each and even THEN I'll NEVER fight the CARRY ARMOR BOSS WITHOUT using the 13 Knights summon to kill it instantly and I'll still KoTR BOTH Emerald and Ruby weapon to death with it ON DISC 2.
