IIRC shield are not affected by Mortal strike effects, so against cleaves with a warrior who is using the improved MS effect during high damage, it can be countered by using rapture.

i have a question about the azerite pieces. cause one of them is pretty hard to get at a high ilvl, so is it more important to run good traits or to get some intellect and stamina?

I level over traits is almost the best choice.

Depend on your class. Some specs cant be played without the right azerite traits and some specs you can switch beetween 2-3traits wich make item level better.

can someone explain the gear scaling in pvp arena? i mean im 437 and have to fight vs 470 often does their dmg scale down? my dmg doesnt scale up so....

I believe there is some sort of scaling due to abilitys dealing % based dmg. So a chaos bolt from a high ilvl lock will do the same %chunck of health to both a high ilvl and low ilvl target. But the azerite traits bonuses dont really scale, or corruption. As they are flat rates, a rank 3 tentacle is going to do the same dmg no matter who you are. So the geared out people will still feel powerful.

It works with purge of the wicked as its still considered as sw:p, just spec shadow, take the trait, go back disc and enjoy!
