Zoe to get rid of the sharp angles when using card stock all you have to do is soften the paper by running it over the edge your desk or take a bone folder and run it down the strip. Works wonders.

I Understand This Is Old Comment We Are All Here To Learn And Create Also You Can Use Very Damp Cloth Or A Water Bottle That Can Mist The Paper Which Softens The Paper And Yes You Can Still Glue Your Bead That Is Why I Use The Word Damp 😉 Definitely Helps Enjoy And May Your Day Remains Pleasant🤗

Very 1st time viewing. Love ur disc beads bcuz I need them for my African jewelry making projects. Urs are beautiful. Do u sell them? Also how long was ur piece of card stock u used. To learn about the sides of the paper being white or the same color all around, was very very helpful. Thk u. Never thought of it. 💜 🌞 🌺

Thanks for another great video! I would love to see the difference between two beads that are 4 strips. One where you alternate just two colors (say black, white, black, white) and then compare it to the same 4 strips but put both blacks together and both whites together. I can imagine the second bead being bolder in color but would still love to see the visual comparison. I'm thinking of trying these beads with my daughter's school colors (navy and orange).

This particular bead works well with thicker paper. When you roll you see the layers. But if you are going for shape the. Any paper will do. They will just need more layers

The two sides has to be at angles correct. The top is straight then one side down is at an angle and so is the left side correct? Do you have the measurements to different styles?
@SqueakerChimp Жыл бұрын
For disc beads you basically want long thin strips that are equal on both sides. Hope that helps

May I ask what glue you are using? Is it just Elmers glue?
@SqueakerChimp4 ай бұрын
@@jessicaashleyjewelry I like to use a strong PVA glue, you can normally buy it in decorating shops, even wood glue is good. The brand Elmers would work but it can be a little thinner.
