Thank you Divine Mercy for all your wonderful teachings! I watch these daily. They've helped bring me back to the Church after becoming an Evangelical Protestant for several decades. I've never asked for prayer on social media before but I'm asking now for prayer to soften and change the hearts of my son and daughter in law to allow me to give a children's bible to my nine year old granddaughter, Piper, for us to read together. We regularly read together on the phone. I buy the same book for her and one for myself. They allow us to read an Advent Calendar each night together in December that tells the nativity story, but otherwise all of our reading material has been secular. They recently denied my request to read a children's bible together, saying they don't want me to influence her, so she can decide when she's older if she wants to follow any particular religion. I'm wondering if I should point out that studies show when children are raised without religious influence they are more likely to disafilliate with religion as adults. Denying it in childhood is more likely to shut the door to seeking spirituality as adults. But I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you. :) I'm currently praying a Mary Undoer Of Knots Novena for help with this. Thank you also for any offered prayers. God bless all who read this rather long comment. ❤️ ✝️ 🙏

The topic of today: Discernment of the Spirit is interesting and important in our lives, thanks to Fr. Thaddaeus for explaining it well. It needs a humble reflection and guidance of the Holy Spirit to discern right, so as not to go astray. We have to pray well for this, that the good spirit is the one leading us and enjoy true freedom, peace and love. Thanks to Fr. Richard’s testimony of saving the lives of priest and religious from the kidnappers and the conversion of many Muslim rebels to Catholicism. By sacrificing his own life for the salvation of others is so edifying and honourable, a living example of fortitude and courage worthy of imitation. We need to practice one step at a time to earn the strength, courage and zeal to face the challenge with faith and trust in God’s plan. My heartfelt gratitude to you, Fr. Chris and your dedicated team on this episode of Living Divine Mercy. Prayers for you all and God bless.
