OMG............I did not know she didn't want to do this song. Thankyou so much for recording "If My Friends Could See Me Now" Still, to this day, that is my favorite disco song. I can not play it loud enough!! I blast it in my car all the time! I am 50 years old and still love disco! I was 16 when that song came out. Love you Linda!! Still so very beautiful!

2018 Great seeing this talented woman..just played some songs and boy though I only had one album - I played that a 1,000x's a day, singing at the top of my lungs and dancing around the house, her great personality came through along with her talent. Love her!

Disco DIVA?!?!? Why do people always use the word "diva"? Linda Clifford was hardly a diva, any more than Cissy Houston (Whitney's mother, who did "Think It Over, another killer groove) was a diva. (Whitney did all the high notes on that song, but you need a highly resolving stereo to hear it, although you can hear her doubling her mother's voice.) Anyway, Linda Clifford had SOUL! It's funny that "If My Friends Could See Me Now," her most "disco-y"song, charted the highest.

😂 disco diva lol. Lord. Can’t she just be a legendary singer who made hits through the 70’s?
