It doesn’t matter who’s in charge, even blacks choose lighter skin over dark, in every culture the lighter skinned ones get the most of anything it’s always been like that, spanish tv rarely had National brands advertise now its all i see spanglish is normal and so has colorism just look around the globe if your white you are right, i love all people and this is the trauma that they’ve left us with, its a constant war since the beginning of time and we haven’t learned shit, all we can do is war amongst each other since there’s no common threat to bind us all for the greater good(survival), i mean when an entity foreign to us all is here to annihilate us, will that unite us all what will it take to unite us because one person at a time isn’t cutting it.

@@sylmen1111 I get what you're saying, Hun. But I'm talking about movies that are created and produced by ONLY fully black women. This way we can uphold a higher image of ourselves and put out movies that not only inspire, but elevate black women. We don't need men in dresses to imitate an overly dramatic stereotype of bw, or have voiceovers of black women or children done by white voice over artists.... We don't have to adhere to any of society's rules of cinema if these projects are fully funded by bw. It's time to change the narrative and take ownership of our image back. We are talented, beautiful, creative and magical.... We should be showing these lovely parts of us on a consistent basis. Even to the point that we maybe stop acting and writing for these other studios (white/black men), and focus on just ours.

Let's not forget that these Hollywood casting directors are Jewish 90% of the time. They insults they hurled at young, gifted, and talented, melanated young ladies were very degrading. I'm so glad Sheryl Lee persevered despite the put downs and racial obstacles.

No - now lets be serious and real. Diana is really no signer - she also slept her way through executives. That is the truth and you know it. Record companies can make anybody a star if they push their music and put a lot of money behind them. That is what happened with Diana - There is NOTHING great about her voice absolutely NOTHING.

These are what you call Strong Black Women! They stood against racism, sexism and all kinds of “God Knows What” and yet they persevered. They knocked down all kinds of doors all the while maintaining their dignity and Beauty. I have so much respect for these women. What this generation and younger is going through is light stuff compared to what they had to endure. Let’s always remember to give these Divas the respect they deserve.

Bro black people are 13% of the population in the US. Why wouldn't a business owner want to market their product to the other larger percentages that have more money to spend because there's more of them? If you want to make less and feel good about yourself you are free to do so, but if you want to be a movie star you got to do the weird stuff they want you to do. It's all a choice.
@TheJCMlove
@TheJCMlove Жыл бұрын
@@rudesword2852 Understood. But why should a black person be made to feel unnatural about what's natural about them to fit in? Or in general, why should any human being compromise their integrity in the name of appealing to masses who are no 'grander' than them. And the thing is, the image that's painted for the audience to recieve is usually far more 'wholesome' than the shenanigans that goes on behind the scenes. It mostly goes to show that a majority of the 'weird' stuff aren't that critical to stardom at all.

She is such a beautiful soul when you meet her in person. When I see Mrs. Tabitha Brown, Mrs. Ralph always comes to mind. I was on a layover in GA and wasn't feeling well. She was dressed down, with shade's and slipper's. Hardly anyone recognized her. I did!!! I knew that beautiful face anywhere. My mom was a huge fan. I'm Jamaican and she would always compare my exotic facial features to her's and remind me that Mrs. Ralph was Jamaican as well. So I wanted to surprise her with a pic. I wasn't feeling well enough to move from my seat and was just waiting for the flight. And craziest thing happened. She ended up sitting beside me. She will love on you no matter who you are. She hugged me, said a short prayer, took a few pics with me and made sure I was good. 🥹 If Mrs. Ralph ever reads or remembers this moment, I would just like to say, thank you for not letting the fame change you! Bless you now and forever more! 🫂💜🇯🇲🌺
