i've been a moderator on discord once, and here are my experiences: 1. the rulebreakers only happen to raid the server once your power goes out or you have to sleep 2. you're in a different timezone and the server isn't active 3. get fired because you have a life and even though you've been active for 2 months your power went out for 1 day and at that very day a raid happened but the random mod who was like only active one day per a month actually showed up and dealt with the raiders thus i got fired because i'm human and not a bot this is why you don't become a goddarn discord moderator

So I joined their discord server, and one day, I forgot about the rules and posted "can we burn gacha children instead of furries" I got stuck in like a shitty prison in the discord and I needed to be in there for one month, but the rules said 3 days. And if you leave the server before your prison ends, you get permabanned, also BTW in the prison, theres a bot that will always ping you saying that you are a piece of shit and you should obey the rules next time, I tried to talk to the shitty mods, they talked shit about me, except for this one nice mod, I messaged him, thanking him how nice he was and we talked and he said that I should leave the server if I wanted to, so I did. Ironically Being a moderator on discord I wasn't the perfect student. Thought I was doing pretty well in school tell the district brought in my weakness that caused my down fall. Chromebooks that where so cheap that even the first smartphones had better processing power and better screen quality. And on top of that the district was so dumb they didn't even configure the devices properly. And they where so worried about protecting their assess that every website that exists was blocked. Even most of the time the websites we did our online classes on would be blocked. Thought I am glad I don't have to deal with that bullshit anymore and I managed to graduate. Funny thing is the district said that they wanted to create a more challenging environment for students and wanted students to overcome the obstacles. Lol!

I had a mod accuse me of being "rUdE" when really I was just lousy at providing constructive criticism to someone's artwork (which the artist willingly consented to to start with). At first, like a civil person is supposed to, I calmly told them I wasn't trying to be rude and they were just misunderstanding but the mod didn't listen. Not only that, everyone else started defending the mod, telling me I was arguing with a mod as if that's somehow supposed to automatically make them totally in the right, and they all kept pressuring me into acknowledging how much of a piece of shit I apparently was in their eyes. I got pissed at them for throwing accusations and misconstruing my messages like that and was promptly banned for it. True story.
