I've been told milk can be frozen and works well after defrosted...Maybe worth a go if the milk is so cheap

I've found that milk freezes and thaws really well but the type of container can make a difference. Milk expands when frozen and I have found that glass or plastic containers sometimes don't have room for expansion. The milk in paper type containers have never been a problem for me.

My mum always froze milk, still to this day. I freeze my milk to. Keeps me outta the shops as well. Also, remember when feeezing liquids, they do expand, so if you get a milk that full to the top, pour some into a cup and screw the lid back on and freeze. Just because it was already opened doesn’t do anything. Just allows for expansion and not a messy clean up from the explosion. 😊
