The main advantage of these systems is that they are very cheap missiles; they do not have an autonomous homing system. This also gives the main disadvantage - a limited number of simultaneously hit targets in the sector.

Another issue is the absence of airburst munitions to effectively operate against loitering munitions. I honestly don't understand why Russia hasn't incorporated this kind of technology in this system since they've already developped airburst rounds for 57mm cannons

The Pantsir is too fragile and detectable. It is deployed in Ukraine by Russian forces, at least 13 are lost, destroyed or abandoned.
