This bible has a lot going for it. It has a lot of color/photos/maps/graphs that will keep the beginner bible reader interested. The wonderful study notes to break things down for better understanding is such a great tool. Having the bible laid out in Chronological Order helps you understand what happened in its order of occurrence rather than jumping around the bible if you read it from front cover to back cover on a regular bible. I can agree with you on some space for notes but I can also see it being a VERY heavy & chunky bible. I love writing in the margins or wherever I can scribble my thoughts while I am reading my bible.

I love how it combines history with Bible chronology. I struggle with getting the big picture of things so I think this would be helpful! The archeology side ties in well, too, and I especially like that it includes world events not just Bible events. That helps keep things in perspective and give more context.

Hi Asheritah! Thank you for your honest review! I would love to win a copy! I find myself pulling out other books when I'm reading and studying. I like to wake up early before my kids so I can get as much study in. Because I have to look at other books for maps, history, etc, I find my time gets eaten up quick. I feel like this study bible has everything! 🎉

It's chalked full of historical contexts and I love that it actually places the psalms in the actual order/during the time it was written.
