Thank you SO much for this!! I am a SAHM of 4 young children and I strive to get up early for so many reasons but specifically to spend time in God's word but it's so hard tending to everyone day AND night to then get up at 6am.. I've been praying for God to help me in this area and I appreciate your message today!

He has been nodging me, too 😅. My excuse was my 2 year old waking me up all hours of the night. But whenever i let go of my morning routine, eventually it starts showing in our attitudes(incl. the kids') and the atmosphere. But then disciplining myself to get back to the routine, becomes difficult again. So, it's best to just realize that no matter what happens, always give God everything you got...even if that means waking up and almost falling asleep while reading and asking Him for more strength tomorrow. Not every morning will simply be the same, but we do need Him DAILY!

When I was in the struggle of early motherhood I felt guilty ALL the time. I can’t imagine being a Christian and feeling mom guilt on top of feeling guilty that I had to spend time with the Lord. I don’t know how you Christian mamas do it I have four kids ages 7-14 and I have ample time to myself now that they are older. And being born again 3 years ago it was easy for me to find time. But those first years were so hard Mamas you are not alone, the Lord is ALWAYS with you. Just talk to him. In the middle of the mess, with tears in your eyes and the kids pulling at you…He is with you!!!!! He understands if you can’t be alone with him This video is so supportive and awesome! Thank you for creating it. I just wanted to let those mamas who might feel like they will never be able to do any of this that it’s ok. Talk to Him anytime :)

@@alyseceleste The first years are so so hard, you're right! Every season of life is going to look so different, either getting up early or finding time throughout your day to sit and read but either way I totally agree to spend time with Him all day long. It doesn't have to look "formal" He just wants us to come to Him. I read somewhere where they mentioned that it was always in men going to the mountains or going off to be with the Lord but it doesn't really mention any woman doing so which pertains to so many of us because we are home taking care of the family and cooking meals, taking care of the home that we can't go off the mountains etc, but it just goes to show that God mets us right where we are, He meets us at the kitchen sink, while we are nursing, scrubbing the floor. What a blessing. 💕 Thank you for encouraging mamas here 🫶🏾

I’m praying for you Destiny and your family 🙏🙏 I love to wake up early and listen to the birds also. I’m a night owl also and am thankful the early hours that something (“God”?) wakes me. I usually lay in bed listening to the birds through the opened windows. Maybe that’s God waking me up to be with Him. I’m sitting here enjoying the evening thunderstorms that cools me down. With out A/C this summer I sure am praising Him for sending the cooling rain! Thank you for the inspiration! Much love and God bless!🤍
