Wow! I had never seen how mushrooms are foraged like that. I can't believe how many were on the ground. We were just at the farmers market in downtown Boise this morning, and there is a vendor there with mushrooms. They are so interesting, but I don't know what to do with the unique varieties. I use the white button mushrooms and the Baby Portobello mushrooms when I cook, and that's about all the experience I have with them. I saw chestnuts at the grocery store last week, but I can't say I've ever had one. Maybe I'll get a few this week and air fry them like you did. Have a blessed week, Megane, and thank you for sharing your outing with us.

Yeah we can find mushrooms in the forest but there are also farm mushrooms, easier and quicker to find them ahah but depending on the species it can be very expensive You can cook them simply with butter, garlic, and parsley, it’s really easy to do it as a side dish. Or in an omelet, it's really good also 😊 I love eating chestnuts but it's such a pain to open them 😩 Have also a good weekend Joannah! Take care and thank you so much for sharing it with me 🥰
