Let me tell you something. Play the ps2 version The 3ds s is smashed by the "censorship hammer". No "puf puf" some costumes like jessica s bikini and a lot of things. Trust me its not the same taste of play.

Really you guys! I just wanted to show my appreciation for them bringing the game over! I played the ps2 version of 8 which I loved but never got to finish which is the reason why I plan to buy the 3ds version. And I honestly don't care if the move puff puff got censored. I hardly to never use that move anyway so it's fine with me.

Actually DQ producer Fujimoto-San said that DQ 7 3DS American version uses a completely new script of dialog. the Japanese version has their own localized version of the dialog script.

Mark Plott But I play it in spanish and it too has a completely new script with original names, dialect and jokes. From what little I've seen the French one, it has them too =)

@@frostare Of course they do, they have to translate the jokes and names to its equivalent in every languaje as long as it keeps the same meaning and doesnt obstruct the flow of the story. That's how translation works.

Yes, but this a 3DS game. And one that Nintendo went through the trouble of localizing after Square Enix refused to do so three years ago. When I see people nagging about the NX, it feels like they don't want to give this game a chance after being neglected for so long now.

Definitely try it, great game if you like or don't mind turn-based battles. And specially if you're a Paper Mario or/and Earthbound fan

NINTENDO has confirmed that the NX will NOT have a disc player but will use CARTS instead.
