***** this doesn't just apply to dragon quest but dozens if great games on the Wii u and 3ds that get ignored while crap like Mario party 10 goes on to sell over a million copies. The Nintendo fanbase has a huge problem with conservative buying habits. Many people aren't willing to look into anything outside of a handful of ip and that hurts everyone in the long run

I lost my 3ds, or someone stole it. I don't know if I wanna spend the money to buy another one. This is the only game that would change. My mind and I'm hoping that this just comes to to iPhone and Android

Sean Doan​ the mobile version is Japan exclusive. You're better off just buying a new 3ds even the ps1 version if you actually want to play it

We're paying full price for a lesser product. If I really wanted to I could get DQ7 for dirt cheap for PS1 and it has midi.

you're paying full price for a remake with updated graphics and extra content. Yes I enjoyed the orchestrated soundtrack for 8 on the ps2 but it wasn't a big deal. The game still sounds great with a midi soundtrack. and from what I know the orchestral version of 7 doesn't have full tracks just certain orchestral tracks mixed with midi. If you don't want to pay full price for the remake then go with the ps1 version like you said.

I don't know if you signed the petition for the game to come over here but the game is here. We finally got a true dragon quest game even if it is a remake. let's just show our support so we can get 11 over here. and maybe 8 will have the orchestral soundtrack. that game comes out next year anyway

Nintendo has a quick start guide to the game but sadly no one is Publishing a current game guide, in Anticipation I bought DQ 7 PS1 game guide on Amazon , the Names and Locations have changed but it still provides insight.

I'd recommend it highly. I played the original for the ps1, but I never finished it. When I saw this was coming out for the 3ds, I decided to give it a try. A very great game, I'm almost 80 hours in, and I haven't even finished the main story. Very worth it.

I prefer the 8th Part of DQ becaus its one of my favorties RPG's of all Time, but the 7th Part makes Fun, too. I bought the game and have 100h played and in not enven through the main quest. Compared with 8th is hard, becaus 7 has a lot of Mini Stories and 8 has a big Main Story. I would say 7 is the Majoras Mask of Dragon Quest^^(sry if my english is bad :D)

this ones very slow and drags on forever. like forever and ever. ive played all of em from DQ4 to DQ9, and i gotta say DQ7 is easily the worst. its still a solid game if you like turn based battles and mastering the 50 different jobs with people, but its SOOO SLOW. and i cant stress that enough. if youve played Kingdom Hearts 2, and remember the Roxas opening, lets just say at least you had combat with somebody or something in those first 2 hours. in DQ7, it takes 2 hours to get to the first battle. seriously.

how about leveling? I HATE when I reach max level long before the end of the game. in DQ8 liked how I still wasn't max level even after beating the game

Does someone know how to use the haven? For some reason monsters that I've tamed won't show up there and it says I need someone to take care of them. What do I do? Also (where do the mystery tablets take u? Lol I wanna know bad now)

Finish Nottagen, then it will actually work. And Monster tamed before that are useless. So about halfway through the game.

nintendo Indio maker can we maybe get 1. world map maker 2.music maker 3.online multiplayer includes a race mode a coin battle mode and a co-op mode up to 8 players maybe 4.vertical levels 5.new world themes 6.new enemies loops kids 7.a top 10 boss battle mode challenge you choose 10 boss battle from different levels and leave the code after we beat the boss so we can play the entire level basically a top 10s list in Mario maker for boss fights please consider these additions especially a coin battle mode

Here's what you need to know, I think. - Beginner-friendly - At least 80 hours of main gameplay - Seventeen vocations not counting special monster ones. - Over 400 monsters - Remember to equip your stuff with "Items - transfer", it's more convenient than the "Equip" section.
