I like Liberties because so many people hate on them. I have a couple. Two are CRD, and one is 3.7. One of my CRD's gets low 30's mpg with 255/80R17's with 4.10 gears. Not a bad daily. I like how they sit higher than a XJ.

My dad spent a lot on a 1st gen colorado with like 40k original. it really hurts me to see the Comanche over there I love then ole girls. I got a 1st gen grand Cher right now but she won't pass pa inspection. Might woods beat it. Might scrap it. Good drive Train

And I love grand Cherokees lol and the 5.9 h.o. off road and limited are not easy to find i have almost bought two 5.2 litre 318 magnum V8 jeep grand Cherokee's one the AWD differential and front axle is destroyed and one has 354k and still running around and its a northern Michigan jeep so it is beyond Rusty lol, and I am the same way with the gm square body and assorted gm products radios and dodge ram spirit stratus cirrus Dakota Plymouth acclaim dodge dynasty, Mopar mini van stereos lol the factory style Chrysler CD player am FM cassette tape player stereo like the truck came with from the factory is actually a 97 jeep stereo

I have a 1999 Jeep Granc Cherokee 190,000 runs great but only gets about 12 to 13 mpg no matter how you drive it its a 4.0 we had a 2004 it got much better any ideas

9 years ago prices for cars were still inflated. ii igot my 5.9 zj for my first car "learned late" and i got it like 13 years ago ? during cash for clunkers.. 9 years for you car prices were still hiigh.. for 900$ you got a steal.. mine was $6500.. also it iisnt just the cost of gas for $5 a gallon.... the 5.9 uses 91/92 octane.. so youre royally fcked. I know ive daily driven mine for 13-14 years, and even though i have a 90 Grand wagoneer for 7-8 years and a 76 J10.. my 5.9 gets better gas mileage so that why i drive it.... lol so i get why you dropped the 5.9 for even better mileage. Oh and i havee ea Jeep i dont talk about on my channle.. its a 98 ZJ 4.0 laredo.. base model base everything, but its beeen in thee family for its entire life. across country 3 times as a kid... and been the hauler, for everything Jeep.. paint is trashed, but like your WJ its nice inside, and has 430k miles gets bout 21mpg which is great for a jeep. as for probably not soon for XJS... hah yea you wish, the last 5-6 yeears eespecially thge last 2 years ive noticed almost no XJs and now ZJs in the junkyard not like they used to be... its happening also who gives a rats ass what prior owners think.. dont be so modest.. a
