NEW PIECE BY FREDERIC CHOPIN
It is absolutely insane, that just a few weeks after the newly discovered Mozart piece another long lost piece was found in New York.
This waltz was discovered by Robinson McClellan, a music researcher, at the Morgan Library in New York, tucked among cultural archives. The manuscript, a small sheet of aged paper, dates to the early 1830s. To confirm its authenticity, experts analyzed the ink, handwriting, and style, concluding it was an original Chopin work.
Like last time I immediately started to plan a production of the piece. Thanks to the spontaneous passion of Katrina Suroveca and the immense support of C. Bechstein in Dresden, Germany we could realize the production of this piece in less than 24 hours.
Enjoy the music and Katrina's performance and stay tuned for our Behind The Scenes.
