Welcome to my Istanbul travel blog! Istanbul is a city full of history, culture, and stunning architecture. There are so many beautiful places to visit in this city, but in this video, I'm going to share with you my favorite locations that I had the chance to visit.
First up is Galata Tower. This tower is a medieval stone tower located in the Galata district of Istanbul. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city from its observation deck. The tower dates back to the 14th century and has been used for a variety of purposes over the years, from a watchtower to a fire lookout. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking to see Istanbul from above.
Next on my list is the Basilica Cistern. This is an underground chamber that was used to store water for the city's residents during the Byzantine era. The cistern features 336 columns, each 30 feet tall, and the atmosphere inside is mysterious and peaceful. It's a unique experience that shouldn't be missed when visiting Istanbul.
Finally, I highly recommend taking a boat tour on the Bosporus Strait. This strait separates Europe and Asia, and the boat tour offers stunning views of both continents. You'll get to see the beautiful Istanbul skyline from the water and witness the unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures that make Istanbul such a fascinating city.
These are just a few of my favorite spots in Istanbul. If you're planning a trip to this incredible city, I hope this video has inspired you to check out these locations and experience the beauty and history of Istanbul for yourself!
