A respectable team. I had Furret, Snorlax, Eevee, Tyranitar, a coin flip for Bidoof or Dawn Wings Necrozma which Bidoof won and a coin flip between Eternamax Eternatus (I know I can't use it, but it looks epic) and Guzzlord which Guzzlord won.

I love how dramatic the ending part of the video was, picking your top 6 for a team is a lot more stressful than it seems. For me, I went with my classic team of Genesect, Snorunt(shiny), Mega Venusaur, Umbreon, Garchomp and Aerodactyl since they all kick ass and would definitely have great synergy together. (Minior was close to being in Aerodactyl’s spot, but ultimately aerodactyl is a stronger pick for a team of 6)

My God, this was hell, but my team is Pangoro, Lugia, Talonflame, Lunala, Garchomp, and Malamar. All six are some of my top favorites, but the first three make a lot of sense. Pangoro is one I've grown super attached to after making it half of my Pokesona (she's a Pangoro-Snorlax hybrid), one of the first Pokemon cards I've own was a Lugia card, and Talonflame is not only my all-time favorite Fire-type but is also based on one of my favorite birds in real life.

So doing this I've apparently learned a lot about myself. Since Gen 2 Umbreon has been my favorite pokemon and yet it did not make it to my top 6 here. I guess my new favorite pokemon is now Mamoswine since they were the first favorite it found, I'll apparently die on the hill that is Farfetch'd & Dedenne, and I guess I'm a ground type trainer cause half my team is ground types. Mamoswine, Farfetch'd, Dedenne, Torterra, Mega Absol, and Golurk. Hope nobody likes Alolan Ninetails cause they might sweep my team. lol

I know for a FACT my team would consist of the following: Charizard named Solaris which means of the Sun, he is my all time fave (basic I know shut up), Absol named Shadow cause he watches over people like a shadow, also named after Shadow the Hedgehog, (he's my fave pokemon from Gen 3 the gen that introduced me to pokemon), Lucario named Anubis cause come on, (I love the fact that his design is based on Anubis from Ancient Egypt and I LOVE ancient history), Nidoqueen named Saphira after the sapphire, (she is one of my all time favorites and deserves so much more recognition her move pool is incredible), Toxtricity lowkey form named Loki cause I LOVE PUNS, (I know people love Amped form but the color scheme of lowkey is incredible my two fave colors in one OH perfection), and Sylveon named Fae cause reasons (my all time favorite Eeveelution and I need to rep the fairy type one of my favorites). I know I'm SO creative with my naming scheme lol.

@@than_487 aw thanks I usually try and name them after favorite characters but most of the time I try to find names that fit the Pokemon's theme lol. I actually think this is pretty well balanced too and that was by total accident lol. I don't have an ice type, but pokemon that can use ice type moves, no water types but pokemon that can learn them (Nidoqueen), my team has pretty big ground and rock weaknesses, but again water coverage in Nidoqueen, grass coverage in Charizard for Solarbeam and his Y form gives that power up faster, fighting coverage in Lucario, and Charizard so overall I'd be able to tackle most types out there. And I wouldn't have to worry about status conditions cause Sylveon could learn safeguard. Plus this team would be more for contests anyways in that world-I'd totally be a Coordinator if I lived in the world of Pokemon. Having to combine both beauty and brawn seems like such a fun challenge.

I did the challenge myself, and though it took a while because of the pressure of having to pick favorites, here are my top six! I got Leafeon, Jangmo-o, Mimikyu, Flygon, Fletchinder, and Luxray. Definitely a good balance team wise, and each one has a very special place and meaning for me. A very hard but very fun challenge!

Charizard, the ace. The final fighter when the chips are down. A strange event during battle once caused him to be permanently transformed into Mega Y form. His stats are still boosted, and his appearance is just as wicked. Gallade and Scizor, the rivals, the sparring partners. I'd like to imagine them "sword fighting" each other with their funky arms. Loppuny, the lone wolf... in rabbit's clothing? Trains with Gyarados or Charizard and has learned to deflect hyper beams with her bare hands, as if reflecting them in a sparky mirror. Gyarados, the wall. Dependable in battle and just as fierce, and as such, always willing to lend a hand in training. Pichu, the mascot. Emotional support is very important! Probably besties with house dog Absol. Your team is really cool! Very inspiring content to work with. I may even write a one-off, which would be my first time writing anything in a while, and my first time writing Pokemon content in 9 years!

I believe, every team needs a Shoulder-Pokémon/Mascot, like Pichu in your case. Mine would be Emolga, together with some of my other favorite Pokémon, in this case Typhlosion (favorite Fully evolved Starter), Swampert (favorite water-pokémon and Team-Mega), Lycanroc Day-Form (Favorite Pokémon, period), Roserade (Who doesn't love Roserade's usefulness?) and Hisuian Braviary (just my favorite flying type and great Design).

This was fun! I went to the site before I watched your video to find mine and I was kind of surprised by my results. It definitely changes things when you see every Pokemon from every game compared to one another. It's interesting how we all have different tastes. You and I have some similar ones though, lol. So I did the Pokemon Picker and thought I would leave this here (Boy was the last 50 super difficult to choose). Sorry if this gets super wordy. 1) Scizor- Steel types are my favorite type and Scizor is my favorite one (since it's the only one on my team of six) but more importantly, than it's cool design and great typing, I have a strong connection thanks to my Heart Gold Nuzlocke run. In that run I caught a Scyther in the Bug Catching Contest and named it Kella and it became my lead Pokemon after I lost my starter at the Rocket takeover of the Radio Tower and got me through the rest of the Johto region. Scizor is also the only Pokemon to transcend Generations for me because I brought her to Pokemon X to become a Mega Scizor. 2) Infernape- Infernape is probably the second most important starter for me because it's the starter that I've easily spent the most time with. Manga the Infernape is the only Pokemon that I raised to level 100 and would just constantly just run through the Platinum Elite Four just trying to solo it with just Infernape (still proud that Manga soloed Lucian and a few Battle Frontier Facilities). 3) Bulbasaur- If Infernape is my second most important starter then Bulbasaur IS my most important starter. When I was a kid I fell out of Pokemon shortly before Gen 2 thanks to going into Middle School and wanting to seem "mature" (I've obviously changed my ways considering I spent over an hour choosing my favorite Pokemon AND spending another half hour typing this out). It wasn't until my friend forced me to get LeafGreen so he would have someone to battle against and I fell back in love with the series and the starter that helped with that was my boy Bulbasaur, he will always hold a special place in my heart because of that. Plus he's just super adorable and really good in Kanto. 4) Snorlax- Snorlax has always been my favorite Normal type simply because he's not only super strong and has an adorable design but I also super relate to a Pokemon that's entire existence is just eating and sleeping. And I finally got an opportunity to use him in a Nuzlocke run last year during my Yellow run and my Snorlax Beef-Cake was easily one of my best Pokemon on my final team. I love this guy. 5) Scrafty- Scrafty is my most recent addition to my favorite Pokemon list thanks to my Sword Nuzlocke run I did last year and my Scrafty Hime became my new lead after I had suffered a huge loss of five Pokemon between Gyms 3 and 4. I was in desperate need of new teammates and Hime joined just when I needed her, she was instrumental in most of my Gym victories and I still remember when she sweeped through Rose's entire team by herself thanks to her Moxie ability. Absolute legend. 6) Audino- This one may seem like a weird choice but my Audino Cupid was surprisingly enough, another Pokemon that became my new lead after the tragic loss of my starter (have you noticed a pattern?). And while Cupid was never the strongest member of my team she was always a reliable team member thanks to her great HP stat, Regenerator ability, and her type coverage. She's unfortunately the only Pokemon on this list that fell in battle as she died in battle against Ghetsis' Hydreigon in the final battle of White after failing to kill it with a Hyper Beam. But that's one of favorite things about Pokemon Nuzlockes, it forces you to use Pokemon you would never use and changing your perception of them. And to me another exemplified this more than a Chansey Knock Off becoming a Pokemon I still fondly remember over five years after that run. The biggest thing about this is that I know my top 5 Pokemon: My favorite starter Swampert named Crush, my other favorite starter Incineroar that I've named Swiftfire, my lovely Gardevoir named Regalia, the steadfast Lucario named Anubis, the flighty Noivern named Serenade, and the 6th is a literal toss-up. Sometimes I go for a Luxray I've named Aruu and other times, I grab a Lycanroc that I call Lupa. All in all, I love my preferred team.

it gets so hard later on, ironically I think my team changed from when I did this earlier, might have been because I randomly decided no legendries (pretty sure lugia would have gotten on otherwise) but not my team is mega Absol, Torracat, Alolan Marowak, umbreon, nidoking, and stufful

I had to do two teams cause this was truly tough. So having no limitations on what pokemon could be used i chose for my main team : Shiny Milotic, Hisuian Typholsion, Roserade(shiny form, cause i have one and her name is Lady Death), Alolan Marowak, Alolan Ninetails, and Mega Absol(the best eevee-lutin). For my Alt team i came up with Greninja, Froslass, Crobat, Gliscor, Hisuian Zoroark and lastly Charizard that can gigantamax. Thanks for sahring this Moxie this was alot of fun to mess around with.

I thought that maybe my taste in Pokémon was pretty diverse. I was wrong. Rowlet, Spheal, Scorbunny, and Sylveon are all soft round friends, Goodra and Dragapult are very good dragons. Honourable mentions go to Treeko, Snivy, and Primarina because I couldn't not mention them.

I’m not in the Discord, so I’ll just put my list here. I ended up with Mawile, Venusaur, Misdreavus, Sylveon, Chandelure, and Alakazam. If I were picking a dream team and going for coverage, though, I’d take Mawile, Venusaur, Misdreavus, Mamoswine, Mandibuzz, and Purugly. Those back three were all really close to making it in the top six, and I like their coverage better.

Mine ended up being Luxray, Garchomp, Palkia, Infernape, Lopunny, Breloom with Togekiss a close 7th. As someone who started with Red before anything else came out, and have played and beaten most every game after, I was surprised how much gen 4 beat out everything else. I have Nuzlocked gen 2 and swsh and am working on emerald and STILL I like gen 4 pokemon best

Tried this and while I'm a little surprised with my supposed favorite, I'm actually pretty pleased! 1. Dragapult 2. Frosmoth 3. Lurantis 4. Spiritomb 5. Dunsparce 6. Garchomp (Honorable mentions: Volcarona, Arbok, Shedinja Scolipede, (yellow) Minior, Galvantula, and Lapras!) As someone who loves the ghost and bug types, I expected more of them to make it to the top six... Huh. Also apparently really like the yellow/blue combo!
