I loved that you started with her most metal and rock eras. Cause the begging of her carrer is marked by a lot a bubblugum pop and mix styles, synthpop and your reacts are like the oppossite of us that started listen to her on the pop eras, it was very fun to see her merge in to this rock free singer. You going to love "Am I A Girl?"

Can't wait to see your reaction to the deluxe tracks they're my favorites from the album! Also fun thing to point out about sit / stay In the song she sings "stop the beat when they take it too far" and as the song nears its end it slowly gets swallowed by chaos with more and more elements added until they "take it too far" so the beat stops

Any albums and EP's before this is gonna be more Electronic pop, Bubblegum pop and Dark Pop. The lyrics is gonna be more quirky and robotic! So excited to see your reaction

Hi Cece, since you asked, my favorite songs off of this album are all of them as each has so much going for it and I love the final song "Don't Go Outside" as it brings all of the album home in a grand fashion. Poppy rocks!!!! Please listen to all Poppy has made and be ready for some of the most interesting music you have heard in a long time as Poppy never is boring . Peace out.

I love your POPPY reactions. You remind me a lot of myself when I first listened to POPPY. She made me love metal music. The male voice in Fill the Crown is Chris Greatti. He is one of POPPY‘s closest friends. I agree with your opinion on this album. Don‘t Go Outside might be my favorite POPPY song… And, although ist the most obvious interpretation, its not only about corona. The song is mostly about fear indoctrination by the media and is of course an amazing resume of the whole album. I can’t wait for more POPPY reactions!!!

After coming back to this reaction time and time again, I'd like to add, that the change up in Sick of The Sun where Poppy said "can someone turn the lights down?", Was even more amazing live when I went to her concert 🥺

I'm sure someone else has said this. But I can confirm that 'Don't Go Outside' was a coincidence. It was a song about depression. I remember listening to it in the first week of lockdown, and lifting my eyebrows like, 'what, girl?' It was odd, but I do think it was just a coincidence.

You should definitely react to the videos on this album, BLOODMONEY and Sit/Stay gives a whole different context to the song with the videos (: Greetings from Argentina

“Don’t go outside” is great, hard to recommend to people unless they’ve listened to the rest of the album though. The subject of the song isn’t likely that though, because the album came out in January of 2020, so she’d have to have been tuned into global news, (specifically asian news networks-which is possible, if you haven’t noticed her inclusion of Japanese in her music yet you will,) for that subject to be on her mind. And let me just say, I was paying attention to East Asian coverage at the time, and there really wasn’t much sign it was going to become a global issue 🤷🏻♀️ Nonetheless, you never know, (not unless she says, of course.)

In fill the crown the deep voice behind her voice is Marilyn Manson

You need to react to Melanie Martinez’s Crybaby album! It’s cute, childlike, but disturbing and messed up! She sings about some very adult topics in childish ways, so that’s why you need to react to her Crybaby album! Hope you like it!!
