Cicadas are bonkers here in NC as well. This is due to 2 broods coming out simultaneously this year (as opposed to the typical single brood). This hasn't happened since the late 1700s I believe. Really enjoy the vids! Lucky to have such great riding country. I'm in the coastal plains of NC, so not the fun part, but not too terribly far away.

Another excellent video as always... I completely agree with you about the best roads have grass growing in the middle. 👍👍 We certainly have had our share of rain this spring which has produced a bumper crop of poison ivy and flies. 😱 What I do find interesting is so many places have lots of cicadas already but here at home just north of Springfield in Fair Grove I have not seen or heard any yet which I find odd.

The cicada's are so loud that the sound is defining here in central Illinois.

Another good job well done on the video. I need to slide over that way with one of my bikes. Prob the 300L. Still on the fence if I’ll sell the RE himi. Looked at the ibex in Springfield Mo. sure looks like a lot of bike for the money.

Good to hear from you sir, yes the Ibex is a lot of bike for the money. The only thing that I think you might be concerned about with it is the fuel mapping. It has a fair amount of lean surging at lower rpm's. For me the bike is so comfortable and fun to ride I can look past the surging... I really enjoy mine... good luck with your search and thanks for watching... :)

Beautiful presentation! Be it turtles, armadillos, kangaroos or deer, when riding backroads I listen to the locals. So, what’s the critter-hitter situation in that neck of the woods?

Good to hear from you sir, I have a chain guide on my Ibex... I just ordered one for a KTM 790 Adventure.. it fit perfectly.. I check my chain slack every time before I ride my bikes... if I think it is too loose I adjust it. Once the new chain has run for a bit they usually don't require adjusting very often... thank for watching ... :)

Thanks for your Ibex videos. I'm kind of confused though. A video one month ago says 2023 Ibex, this one says 2024 Ibex. Is this a new bike or the 23?

Hi from Malaysia, I've a question about the motor. How has it help up so far, does it suffer the cam lobe wear that the sister motor suffers (ktm 790)

Good to hear from you sir, I have 10,000 miles on the Ibex right now and have had no issues with it so far. I will do a valve clearance check at the end of this season but I do not expect to find any issues with the camshaft. I have seen no reports of cam lobe issues with the latest 790 engine. The cam lobe issues were with the early KTM 790 engines... pre 2022.. I have not heard of any issues with the new redesigned valve train... thanks for watching... keep safe out there... :)
