Great to see Regina back out on the trails in that two door again. My wife has a two door JL, and on our trips she's been mostly content to be a passenger, not really wanting to drive. Great video Brad and Regina! Love seeing you both on the trails together. The Bilstein 8100’s are amazing, and the jeep looks great with 37’s. I had clearplex on the Bronco camera car windshield because we get tons of cracks from chasing cars. Unfortunately it didn’t work for stopping the cracks for me, and had some weird rainbow color shift after about 8 months. Can’t say I would recommend it!

Love this vid Brad. Doc is awesome...as is Regina's two door by the way. Great to see these vehicles together. One constructive criticism: it would have been highly entertaining to see an unedited version of the marital interaction re the bone-headed eating utensil operational situation.

Regina, you appear to be an awesome wife to Brad & mother to your 3 children & I absolutely love your 2-door Jeep Wrangler. Brad, I unfortunately had to trade in my 2020 Gladiator because of transmission issues. However I traded it in for a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon in SARGE GREEN which I absolutely love. I'm starting to build it/modify which is always fun, but I do miss my Glady. I can't wait to meet both of you hopefully on a trail or overland event. I know that y'all talk to many many people, but I've always been fond of your channel because my really great friend who passed away in a house fire December 2023 was a 24-year retired NAVY IDC himself. He was on a nuclear submarine. If you have the capability, his name was Mark Wright. He was an avid outdoors man & I had just introduced your channel to him & of course he watched several because he shared a common ground with you. Lastly, I am a Gold Star grandson so I hold dearly our American freedoms. Y'all are the best & hope to meet y'all someday. Happy Jeeping!

Great video, as always. I have had windshield protection film on my '21 JLUR for about a year and I recommend it. Prior to installing the film I went through 4 windshields in 2.5 years. From my base in Minnesota, my Jeep has been to Prudhoe Bay, Death Valley, and all over Utah and Colorado. It seemed like every trip resulted in another crack. After putting the film on I've driven over 10k miles on a variety of road surfaces and I've had several rock impacts but zero cracks. The film is great but it's not perfect. Rock impacts can leave a mark on the film. I have a couple of those impact souvenirs. Over time they "self heal" a little bit but are still noticeable. Also, I've been told that automatic carwashes can scratch the film. I don't use those carwashes so can't say whether that it true or not. Again, highly recommend the glass film.s

35 is a good tire size for a JL/JLU however, the gladiator due to its long wheel base really needs 37s, and they look really good too. That' the only thing keeps me thinking about getting a Gladiator the prices are good but there is an extra expense to lift it and adding 37s.

Interestingly, I always thought the "passenger" side would always be a better option because that's the side that's on the "side of the road" when you pull up. Here in Australia your drivers is our passenger side, so with almost all awnings manufactured for the "wrong" side - it works out to be the right side (left) so it doesn't pull out into oncoming traffic if you're pulled up on the left hand side of the road.

I was part of the effort to install the Alan Rowe memorial and I was interested to see if you would mention it in your video. To clarify though he had always wanted to, Alan had never actually run Heartbreak Ridge due to his Early Bronco being unfinished, Hence the selection of the trail for his memorial. After his death we helped his wife get his EB back on the road and trail worthy. She and their kids became avid 4wheelers and she was also a strong protector of the right to off-road as mayor of Yucca Valley and then a San Bernardino County Commissioner. You actually did two trails as the first part is called "Pontiac Sluice". Was the old wrecked car still there? From the video it looks like you went up the down part of Heartbreak Ridge trail. Though I presume that was due to your wife's inexperience, as the up part is more challenging to go up then it is coming down.
