As a kid/teenager, I spent a couple of weeks in St. Augustine every summer. Your video was a walk down memory lane for me and reminded me that I need to get back and visit this great place as an adult!

As a native to St.Augustine we call it the old fort. I never knew how lucky i was as a child growing up in a beautiful place. Now, in my 40s, I'm taking it all in. I'm proud to call her home.

As a snowbird (Ohio) who has a place in st aug, I recommend visits in Dec and Jan to see downtown during the City of Lights FestivaL I fell in love with the city years ago. Great for a relax filled visit to one of the most beautiful beaches, and great sights and food. There is no waterpark or amusement park nearby, so it's more "quiet". and that's a good thing.

This gives one a good overview of St. Augustine”s Historic District. There is, as was said, so much more to see and do, and I highly recommend a stay in one of the many Bed and Breakfast’s in the District. I live here and have spent easily hundreds of hours exploring all that St. Augustine offers. And yet, every time I come into the District I find something new! While there are many tours that require a fee, one can also spend fabulous hours strolling around without spending anything. Oh, and let’s not forget the food! You will find amazing restaurants and bars all through the area. I have some favorites, but I must say that I have never had a bad meal! So co me, explore, and have fun in our beautiful St. Augustine.

I have lived 45 minutes from St. Augustine for years. It is very beautiful when it is decorated for Christmas including many white lights. It is fun just to take a leisurely stroll and dine in one of the numerous restaurants. We have done that many times. I will say it gets extraordinarily hot and humid in the summer.
