Hello Sophie, so the magic behind the no traffic jam was ferry timing then.! Bay of fire is mind blowing😳😳.! Is that some video editing you did or is the place as beautiful as shown in this video.!! And the gardens, the water was crystal clear too..! Amazing Airbnb stay.! Tasmania is in my bucket, mug and glass and jar list now, one day for sure.! Oyster tour is also awesome 👌. Tc and stay safe.

So glad to hear you enjoyed the video! Not too much editing done to the footage. Bay of Fires is even more beautiful in person! Seriously, breath taking. 😍

Hi Sophie - I enjoyed your videos of Tasmania. I have lived in the US for 20 years, and I am from Tasmania. Some of your pronunciations made me smile ;-) The coastal town of Bicheno is pronounced "Bish En Oh". Your pronunciation of "Freycinet" was quite close, "Frey Shin Ay" (it's French). And the FNP linked to my alias is an acronym for Freycinet National Park. Next time you're in Tasmania make a visit to the Southwest National Park (United Nations World Heritage status) that you enter via the town of Maydena. The Styx ("sticks") and Florentine Valleys close to Maydena are home to the tallest hardwood trees in the world - Eucalyptus regnans (aka Swamp Gum, or Mountain Ash in Victoria). The best way to see them is to join an ecotour that are offered by travel companies. The SW National Park is very remote and wild, and often overcast and wet. However, on a sunny or clear day the views of the mountains, plains and temperate rain forests are amazing, and the night sky is incredible as there is no light pollution. The NW coast and western Tasmania should also be on your list. Enjoy Australia, safe travels and keep vlogging.

Hi David, thank you for helping with my pronunciation of the areas. Will definitely work on those. Thank you for sending through your recommendations. Will definitely add these to the list of beautiful places to see in Tassie! Hoping to get back at some point this year.

Sophie I just discovered your vlog during my lockdown time here in delightful Sydney. I'm kind of stuck in the CBD near Central Station but I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos of other places. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go next - of course, I'll have to wait for your YT vlog, since I don't have social media (outside of LinkedIn... and is that really social media?) - cheers!

Thank you so much Adam! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The one you watched is ep 3 in a 3 part series so def worth checking out the other episodes in the Tassie series. I was supposed to go to a fun destination in QLD last weekend but had to cancel my trip due to the recent outbreak. I too am in lockdown here in Sydney and feel your pain! Hopefully it will be all over soon! xx

How expansive do you think it was to become a citizen of Australia like plane ticket, house, finding a Jon, car, all of that I was thinking I needed like 10k American dollars but I may need more
