It is so interesting to see how tourists react to the churches and cathedrals, because for me, who grew up in Quebec, they are just churches, you know? Never thought much of them. Just churches. We have so many of them in Quebec. Every town and village has them. I thought there was millions of churches just like that in the world. And to see people react that way makes me have a new appreciation for their architecture.

I was born and spent the first 25 yrs in Montreal and consider myself kucky for it. Because of that, I'm more open to many cultures, the arts, a wide variety of cuisine and a certain type of flair only Montrealers have. My eldest daughter moved there after growing up in a states. I may have moved to the states in 91 but I have returned to visit too many times to count since then. I will always be proud of my hometown.

I am just starting my Nursing journey here in the US (home), and I have dreams of moving to Montreal to work in that field. I've been there several times before and with each visit I fall more in love. However, I am super embarrassed by my command of French. Learning it here in Texas is not the easiest thing to do with so much Spanish influence. This video made me feel that if I persevere it IS possible to realize this dream for myself! Thanks for this (however old it is)!

Your videos made me emotional. I’m so lucky to be able to call Montreal home. I miss so much the “normal” vibe of Montreal. At the same time, I’m looking forward for things to get back to normal but at the same time, I’m afraid that some of this magic will be lost when all this pandemic is over. But Montrealers are creative and innovative people. They will find a way to bring back the joy and the magic, even if things won’t be the same.

Fantastic collection of videos! I'm so glad when tourists love my city. I tell my Uber riders I've never lived anywhere else, no do I want to, that I love my city. My ONLY criticism of an otherwise absolutely superb compilation is the cheezy guitar strumming throughout. It even drowns out what the people are saying at times.
