As a kid, I never watched it, but as an adult I liked it, on the public broadcasting channel, known as PBS in Michigan :):) They cut off the trailer to this episode just before she says, no one around after work...Maybe the exact middle east country she's in is like the same as the US, where after 5:00 ( mostly the time when people get out of work )...People go to bars/restaurants/movies...Usually dinner before a movie, or sometimes a movie before dinner...Going to bars is usuallay later in the night...If ya want, go to the episode nicaragua, costa rico w/ neil gibson and I've explained how to get to this episiode !! This was great when it was Ian who would go anywhere and do anything and met random people and stayed where they lived. But then the American girls arrived and turned it into a shopping trip with cheap hotels, but still hotels. So sad. Globe Trekker should have been called Globe Shopper.
