All aboard Princess Cruises brand new Royal Class ship, Discovery Princess! In this video we take you along for an Oceanview balcony cabin stateroom tour. This is Princess Cruises balcony cabin layout. This cabin is midship on the starboard side of the ship. Some of my favorite features of the room are the multifunctional workspace, loads of power outlets and the how the bedroom is separated from the bathroom and closet! The price varies depending on the length of the sailing.

Thank you for this great video! We were on Princess’ oldest ship, the Grand, for 15 nights in February and our cabin layout looked almost exactly the same. But we loved that cabin and that cruise so no complaints! We will be on the Discovery in a balcony cabin in December (over New Year) so your video was very informative. Hi, I booked Alaska cruise for July of this year with Princess. Was your room a deluxe balcony with obstructed view? I am debating between a balcony with obstructed view and a balcony w/o obstructed view. They are about $600 difference and want to know if a balcony w/o obstructed view is worth it. Would appreciate your input. Thank you!

I think it's incredibly exciting, a brand new ship in Alaska gives a great experience on and off the ship! Ans how fun the main dinning rooms are named after Alaskan ports!

I will never understand why Princess only offers seating for one in their balcony cabins. Wife and I prefer two chairs for eating a room service breakfast. We prefer other cruise lines over Princess for that reason.

The headband look is so lovely on you! So retro! Tell Rafi to get you a Pucci headband/scarf for your next birthday or special occasion gift! The step in the shower is a nice touch. I have a concern about the medallion technology and if the medallion responds when you leave the room and unlocks it just as when you had entered. Might that be an opportunity for someone to get access to your stateroom right after you leave? Thank you for the stateroom tour! edit: A sofa or comfortable seating besides the desk chair is needed especially for a seven-night cruise.

Dear god, there is no such thing as a deluxe ocean view balcony. The cabin you’re showing, is a standard category BB balcony. These cabins are significantly smaller the a normal Princess balcony, as is the bathroom. Correct your mistake here and on the Facebook page.

Just came back from the 3-27 Discovery. We disappointed.. boring cruise. Food is bad, cutting to the bone. Dancing will be in the Hallway only. Disco is OK but really bad music. Cannot find music at all. Guest performance is also bad. Booking for dinner is a pain every night even though it is only 60% full. As Elite, you have nothing to do or watch at all. No more free internet. The app does not work. My Balcony room has been reduced by 2 ft in length and 3 feet in width. Only 1 chair with no where to seat, no sofa any more. Crew are not trained yet and running around like chicken without heads. NO RECOMMENDED.
