Just a little tip. Compression fittings don’t require Teflon tape. The ones with plastic nuts on them are to be tighten by hand. They have flanged ends made to compress into each others “ male and female” ends to make the seal. You well also need plumbers putty to put that collar drain down into the sink.
@agelessrving
@agelessrving Жыл бұрын
I smiled when I saw him wrapping those compression fittings. I was like, nope it is going to still leak because that is not the issue, unless the fitting was not tight. Those drain fittings also do not need tape, just snug tight.

Absolutely on your comments 👍 But, someone needs to tell him RV water pumps can supply 50lbs pressure from onboard water tank......maybe the problem is RV park water pressure and a sorry RV dealership. That looked like natural gas, propane teflon tape.

@@jeff67mustang I thought the same thing. Between General RV and Jayco, there are a lot of issues to be worked through. A local shakedown is always best if you can.

To power up your leveling system . You have to have the key turned to the on position and the emergency brake on. Or it will not power up. ( you should leave the engine running so the voltage stays up, the lippert systems are very sensitive to voltage drop.)

To add to safety and steering responce to your new C class.... have a Safe-T-Plus added to the front steering tie rods, and toss the factory installed one. You already have beefier rear stabilizers. I second the motion on having the alignment checked and reset the camber and caster to the high side of the settings. Made a world of difference in my Leprechaun class c.

Love watching your videos. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing these issues. When we bought our Class C in 2021 our dealer MHSRV had to ask us to test everything overnight at their RV park to make sure everything is working fine before leaving their lot. It’s rare to have a RV dealer that have their own RV park. They have 20 spot with full hookup. We didn’t find any issues on our test. But we found issues when we travelled to Colorado which is a different story.

I was just commenting that. Everything we have purchased in the last three years has been defective and cars are eating themselves. Escalades are dumping water into the interior through the lights and GM is saying it’s not a warranty claim. I am really curious to see what the build quality of this rv is. In a Jayco, you must leave the engine running, and set the brake before the leveling system will work. Also, I never use Autolevel. I use manual. Auto usually lifts the coach up higher than needed. Words of wisdom, take the Class C in to a truck repair shop and get the front end aligned. RV manufacturers do not align them. Both that we had were toed in too much and when a truck drove past us, it would make the swerve sideways.
