I’m a Cubs fan, but Morel is NOT your third baseman. He doesn’t seem to be playing with umph here lately. Yeah he leads the team in homers. But defensively, he’s lazy. Guys in the league go up hacking all the time and want to be that home run producer. I believe if they play small ball, they’ll come together and gain more confidence. Bellenger and Happ have taken less hacks to put the ball in play. Dansby needs to try the same.

The Cubs bullpen squeaked by the first couple of months. A few injuries later, no more squeaking. Only blown leads, and ugly losses. The pitching staff are finally getting things back on track, and looking much better now. Plus, with Hunter Bigge getting his debut, and striking out his first batter with some high heat. Definitely has me excited to see what's next. In the end. The bats haven't been losing the games, it was a hurt bullpen. "Just Sayin" Go Cubs!!!

Do you forget that they had a franchise historical Arpil? They entered May with 18 wins which was the first time they did that in franchise history. I wouldn't call that trash. That being said May and June were absolutely brutal. However, they were almost identical this time last year and then remember they were one of the hottest teams in baseball and had a 99% playoff chance before the franchise historical meltdown in September, which is why Ross was let go. There are plenty of games left and they are actually now playing like the team we thought they were going to be. The orioles are the 2nd best team in baseball and we are going for the sweep today in Baltimore. That is a good sign. Talk about a huge 4 game series in st Louis this weekend! I also think they are going to make some acquisitions before the deadline. Let's just keep this going though, one game at a time! LETS GO!

The cubs were 7 games above .500 in their 1st 30 games and that was without tallion and steele! And these guys are right 75% of the cubs roster has seen at least an IL stint of 2 weeks or more throughout the season. If the Cubs get healthy they are a dangerous team.
