I’ve owned this for a while now and I’m quite happy with how it works. First readings always seem to need time to stabilize, but generally speaking it seems consistent. Do I trust it more than my pallet? Absolutely not but I think it is a nice tool to use if you wanna confirm certain things or the impact of the changes you make to the brew

On the one hand: great video and thanks for sharing! On the other hand: I would really love to see if the differences you guys are seeing still exist when taking test-retest-reliability and standard measurement error into perspective. What I mean by this: Is the variation you are seeing down to the difference in measurement device or actually rather a reflection of the test to test variation that even occurs within just one device. Would be quite easy to find out with pulling a few data points and running SPSS analyses (stuff like this is undergrad psych statistics level).
