Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories - Capturing Level 9999 Nekomata

Sorry about the quality, I was using my ipod. The background music is futurama lol. But back to the point: 1. Make sure you capture enemies x2 of ur current level, 2. Kill all of the nekomatas except the one i left in the video, 3. Wait for it to get to lvl 9999, 4. Bring out whatever characters you want and place them where i put mine and keep ending ur turn so that the nekomata is above ur base panel, 5. Use any character and throw it into ur base panel. Voila! A level 9999 Nekomata! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I broke my game my character don't show a level n my skills n stats r maxed out I have no idea wat I did now its just boring not losing anymore 💔

he isn't catching the 9999 nekomata in this video. he is catching double the level of his highest character., i assume it is Adell at lvl 70 something making the nekomata about 140. then the next time he would go and do this the max he could catch is 280, then 560, 1120, 2240, 4480, 8960, and finally 9999. so he would have to do this 8 more times to get a 9999. then you can do things like max out your stronger monsters bill and use your 9999 nekomata to gain a lot of mana and hl for the early game or just face roll the game with an army 9999 cats or what have you. for anyone who is wondering you can catch any monster at any lvl ~2.5 times your max lvl in the base panel or less. the lower the level and the lower its hp the easier it is to catch. i also believe either the collective or average lvl of your group can increase your odds but im not sure which. in any case it isn't a major factor or at least i have never noticed it to be. In any case if your trying this trick and it doesn't work first check to make sure your on the PS2 version. all other versions base monster capture level requirements on Adell's lvl and it can only be

@@SacredDemon666 Funny thing. It's right now the 32rd time I tried. My highest is lvl 161 and I tried catching Nekomata lvl 348, 312, 287, 269, 241 and didn't want to go below 240ish. I also tried a 190ish but it didn't work. Got the PC Version. I never tried it be 2x Adell's level. As u said it makes the whole point in Neko Trick useless haha.

@@Drag0nSl4yer18 This trick only works for PS2 version. Other ported versions including the PC one, prevents this by only allowing you to catch enemy units below Adell or Axel's (in Axel's mode) level.
