Disgusting Cookies - The 2012 Hungry Games

Hank and Michael make some really disgusting and really amazing cookies, and then they play Hungry Hungry Hippos to decide who eats which cookie. All in honor of the release of a great movie (based on a great book.)
If you haven't seen the Hunger Games, I heartily suggest it...that is, as long as you read it first :-p
Sorry this video is a bit disjointed in places, we recorded like an hour of footage and it was quite hard to edit down to four minutes.

beef jerky is wonderfully crated meat stick, whilst york peppermint patty is a blotch of disgusting festering sore on the 'silver wrapper with blue circular inset' dessert industry. I spent YEARS where I couldn't even LOOK at a Klondike Bar. I don't care if they taste nothing alike, I am fully aware of the chocolatey covered goodness that is a Klondike Bar... but the sheer REPULSION that I feel for york peppermint patties is so full and complete that the anger and disgust was projected onto anything even remotely having the same color scheme. There was a time I hated the Wolf Ranger on Wild Force, AND HE WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THAT SEASON. AND I LOVE WOLVES

JamesCPotter13 You are clearly much more invested in this than I, but I think the distinction between the good and bad piles was more of a sweet/candy vs non-candy distinction. I think the Pringles cookie would taste better than banana. That's just me, though. Everyone's opinion is their own, including your crazy beef jerky vs York patty one.

According to the FDA, salmonella is on the outside of the egg, and it needs _a lot_ of the bacteria to infect you.

The risk of salmonella is relatively small because eggs in cookie dough have usually been pasteurized. However, there is a risk of consuming parasites from the flour. That can be fatal, so it's best to avoid raw dough. It turns into magic in the oven anyways.

I know this is a very old video but the cookie dough thing reminded me of something. I had a friend who would forgo any type of dessert as long as she had a tub of Nestle's raw cookie dough. That would be her snack after school and her dessert after dinner and when I would go over to do homework with her we would reward ourselves with small scoops of cookie dough for completing a certain amount of math problems.
