Just as an aside, when picking up the Roseburrow Prototype if you're on a no powers playthrough, while you are OUTSIDE the Security Room, if you break the glass that will cause the steel plates to pop up and cover the windows and the two witches to port into the Security Room. One of them will wind up breaking the door and thus giving you access to that room without having to use powers to get up into that small pass thru above the door. I did a horrible job explaining that in the video and felt some additional clarification was warranted.

You don't need to blink or far reach into the security room. You can just climb the boxes that are standing right next to the door.

Wow some of those are amazing! Need to find them. That splinter crossbow blue print for Corvo upgrade sounds awesome. I got the clock work soldier damage one by accident. Used in Mission 9 knock out a Soldier on 3 swipes when hiding.

No, no thank you for the help. If I hadn't see what the difference was for you, it would not have clicked for me that I had seen those descriptions before and why there was a difference. I don't have the time that I once did to play out ever scenario in every way possible adjust every possible variable and then do it all over again. So having someone kindly offer up some extra info that I had over looked was very helpful. I'm all about giving proper attribution when someone helps out. New Game +. It is coming. I was supposed to have been released by now, but they pushed it back. Currently (at least for the PC version) there is a patch in the Beta testing phase that includes NG+ mode. The grapevine says it will go live before the end of the month. Not sure what the release schedule will be for other platforms (but the same time or soon after.) NG+ should allow you to play with your entire build (including the runes you've already spent on powers). I hope it will allow you to keep your blueprints, but haven't had a chance to test the patch yet. Been too busy putting up other vids.

Yeah as long as you source it off of THAT playthrough you will keep everything just as you would when you start any "new" NG+ playthrough. I just wanted to make sure you knew that the ones for Emily and Corvo are character specific and agnostic of whether you've collected them before or not. Some people have been, mistakenly, under the impression that in NG+ they'd be able to use Emily's Gun/XBow masterwork blueprints on Corvo and vice versa. Didn't want you to make that assumption.

Are you sure your sword does damage to clockwork soldiers without monkey wrench? I thought it didnt. Or else it takes a lot then. I never killed one with sword without the blueprint. I always used springrazor with it double hitting. Kills them quick.

Yeah I've played around whacking at them with the sword. I usually just pop their back plate off and then will hit the power source and blow them up. ...and by usually I mean it is something I've done a number of times so I can tell you it works. Usually does not mean that that is in an way shape or form a good idea IMO. There are so many better ways to deal with them. Frankly you can just pop their head off with a single shot and then they are blind and you can move around them (quietly) without them ever finding you, plus if another clockwork soldier or guard is nearby it will just go attack them. MrCodeslinger Nice. Once you have the blueprint, you can kill them really fast just swinging your sword. Its much better to pick that over more damage on witches imo. Its good to know you can kill them like that without the blueprint though.

I suppose it depends on what platform you play on, for me I just put up the ammo wheel menu and switch to them. Should be the same concept for just about everyone. Not sure what the PC interface looks like though as I always have a controller connected so I've never seen it.

...as long as you choose the saved game from that NG+ where you completed the game fully as the source for your "new" NG+ playthrough... then yes. It will effectively be NG++ i.e. a NG+ based off of a NG+ playthrough.

Yes and no as I suppose it depends on what you're expecting. The mastery blueprints specific to Emily are only EVER usable by Emily and vice versa with Corvo. You'll never be able to use Corvo's gun/xbow blueprints on Emily or hers on Corvo.

The Graphics look quite good on X-box. I play on GTX 980 with everything but textures and shadows un Ultra, and its not much better.

This is on a Titan X, but with the graphics all set to about half quality. There was a bug when this was recorded that existed where putting the settings on Ultra would downgrade everything to half quality. So it wasn't working at all. It has since been fixed of course. I just have a controller hooked up to play the game, that's why it looks like it is on a console.

These are some shitty "master blueprints", I expected more, especially power-wise, but I guess we already have bonecharms for that. I hardly even get spotted so I don't get in any full-fledged fights with guards, witches, or hounds. This is pretty useless for me. But love the zoom for the Spyglass and the bolts/gun. Everything else - meh.

Yeah I think for most of them, at least IMO, they are geared more towards a combat playthrough or a no powers combat playthrough. I also like the zoom option on both. The more sword damage against clockwork soldiers is a failed description, with it you can assassinate clockworks soldiers which is awesome. The other two that are great for a stealth-based playthrough are the boot upgrade for making less noise and the wraps that make you less visible in well-lit areas. Plus with being able to take all of the upgrades with you into NG+, that means you get access to them super early. I love the game. But...........but...........I hate the chaos system. The game gives you all kinds of toys to play with then tries to tell you how bad you are for using them. Well it is just a game........but putting an enemy witch into a painting to return for revenge is not real life, as a dead witch is a good witch. Lol. Then you use the heart on the guards and they are all evil.............yet we are not supposed to use those neat toys on them. Shame, shame you very bad person. I love the long range gun or crossbow, you can from up high take out a dozen guards, or domino four of them and use one bullet. And we get ballistic weave armor just before the very last mission.........reminds me of the Witcher 3, you get the best sword in the game just as the game ends, so you do not even get a chance to use it. Games do fall short many times, and dishonored is such a short game, fancy toys are nice, but you do not get a chance to use them, and even in new game plus you have to purchase the upgrades all over again, you do not get to carry them with you. So what is the point? You have to scour the levels for money to buy them all over again and again. Dishonored is just too short of a game to enjoy the fancy toys much. Great game, but it does have its problems. Cheers!

Reading that first part gave me flash backs to Al Pacino as the Devil in the Devil's Advocate (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZm7pYiaZbl4hZo). "Look, but don't touch..." LOL. "...but putting an enemy witch into a painting to return for revenge is not real life..." I had a ex try to smash me in the head with painting-sized picture frame once for revenge... although quite unreal at the time, it later seemed very much like real life. ;) I think you'll find in NG+ that if you just pick up the basics, like paintings and the occasional goodies here and there you'll have plenty of money for re-purchasing upgrades. However, there are almost 5000 coins worth of things (including coins) to collect between missions 1 and 2 alone so you can really go all out pretty early. A few missions of being diligent about collecting, early-on, and you can just almost ignore money from then on out. IMO, NG+ is where you can get so much enjoyment out of all of the toys since you get to really supercharge your game play with early masterworks, 10 x 4 trait bone charms and more powers and enhancements that you can shake a stick at. My only problem is that they limited us to 3 campaign slots so being able to find out just how evil you can be is limited. :) I agree the game felt short, but so does every Game of Thrones episode when you finish it and think there was no way that was an hour or even how it feels when you finish watching one of my videos... :) Time can be a funny thing when your brain is enjoying something.
