I remember playing this game when it came out on the PlayStation 3 and eventually getting the platinum trophy for it. I will always remember for whatever reason I also chose to stack up some trophies so I didn’t have to do more than two playthru in theory. My second playthru consisted of me going for no kills, not getting spotted, playing on the hardest difficulty, and not purchasing or upgrading any of my magical abilities. Still to this day my most proudest gaming accomplishment is completing that play through and platinuming the game.

So I'd have to manually search through the video for the end of the story spoilers just to get to the completion stuff, and that was risky because I could see spoilers while trying to find the END of the spoilers. It was such a pain in the ass. This is much better.

I remember the first time I played through this game, I wanted the good ending so I was afraid of killing any guard because it would raise my chaos. I just began getting so frustrated. Then my roommate played through the game after I had taken a break, only to beat it with the good/low chaos ending, yet he killed any guard he encounter or had spotted him. It turns out that the real determining factor of Chaos caused is how you handle the main targets, did you assassinate them, or give them a non-lethal (and sometimes worse than death) punishment?

Lightning0 I'm not referring to just this episode. I'm also not saying I disagree. I think this game does deserve a finish it rating, and so dis the last few ones. I'm just saying it's been a while since he's given the complete it rating. As for the "not too hard" statement, I have evidence that contradicts that fact. _Take That!_ Kirby Super Star. He gave it a Finish it rating, but the game is what people on the internet would call a babby game. Whatever that means. I'm assuming they mean it's a very easy game I think. He even mentioned that the game was super fun and easy to complete. Yet it still got a finish it rating. And as for the worth, he's given games in the past a complete it rating that have no completion bonuses because and I paraphrase: "even though there's no completion bonus, the game is fun enough to play and finish it that you might as well complete it." something like that. Which ironically may have been his Kirby Dream Land 2 episode. I think. It's been a while since I saw that episode. I'm pretty sure it was a game boy game though. But I'm not here to argue. ...Even though I think that's what I just did. Oops. My bad.

The problem is so many games don't give any reward for completion. If that is the case he does not (usually) recommend completion. Additionally is has to be not very painful to complete.

it seems you misunderstood what I was trying to say or I didn't write it correctly. He only gives games a complete it rating if it is not to strenuous to do so. I'll agree with the kirby game since most are easy to complete. This game "Dishnored" while not hard to beat, is very hard to complete because of the DLC, and since you get virtually nothing for doing so other than bragging rights, Jirard gave it a finish rating. Same with Gears of War, the stupid trophies ruined any chance of it being worth to complete. And if you are wondering about FNAF, I think Jirard is just getting tired of them like everyone else. He gave "complete it" ratings to games that were not too hard to complete or to games that offered a reward for doing so, like bonus weapons or costumes, like God of War does.

I didn't have the DLC but as far as the normal campaign is concerned I found this game very simple to complete. The challenges may have been very strict but they were very clear and easy to understand when you didn't complete them. The trick to completing this game is saving CONSTANTLY. Every time I entered a new room I saved to ensure no previous progress had to be redone. The second half of the game is much easier anyway so if you can endure the first half then the rest is easy in comparison. I clocked about 19 hours for the 100% minus DLC

I’ve always loved Dishonored. I’m replaying the whole series now because death of the outsider has been sitting in my backlog for years now and I just got done with Deathloop. I’ve always played ghost / clean hands because it feels most satisfying, but after watching a few of stealthgamerbr’s play throughs I’m going high chaos for a change. They feel like a something a tv show would use in a one off episode based on video game comedy. The previous transitions had a lot of life and originality to them that I just don't get from these new ones 2) I really miss the spoiler section. Getting your opinion on the story, if it was a satisfying ending or not, and a quick interpretation of how you think things went for the more confusing games was always a joy for me, and that's completely gone now 3) In a way this show used to be a more general game review, between talking about the story and the gameplay. However, you have obviously shifted your focus more onto focusing solely on how it feels to complete the game, and it's led to a VERY negative, and kind of complainey tone in a lot of your recent videos. I get it Jirard, these games are super hard to complete, and I commend you for completing them, but you don't have to remind us every 5 seconds that the game was a bitch to complete I'm not doing this out of hate Jirard, please know that. I'm simply voicing my opinion on this new format, and what I dislike about it, particularly because I honestly am starting to very much dislike the show due to the massive amounts of negativity I feel radiating from the videos these days for the games you complete. This video alone honestly made me consider unsubscribing because there were times in the middle where it just felt like I was listening to you rant about the game, which isn't what I wanted or expected out of your videos when I did subscribe way back when Anyway, I hope you take these criticisms to heart, but I understand I am only 1 subscriber out of almost 660,000 now(congrats on that btw), so unless you see similar comments to these you probably won't consider any significant changes. In most video games, it's easy to kill multiple enemies around you, especially in games where the enemies attack you one at a time (I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed). But in Dishonored, it really is somewhat difficult to fight multiple enemies at the same time until you take advantage of The Outsider's powers. I really like that about Dishonored.

Dishonored is one of my favourite games of all time. I like Stealth games like Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell, but Dishonored felt somehow new, even though it followed the typical gameplay formula of stealth games. The problem I had with the first game is that the good ending was locked behind boring mechanics. The bad ending was not only easier to get, but also way more fun to get. If you're doing low chaos, then you can't use any of your cool abilities.

You know. I absolutely fell in love with this game. SO much so that I stayed up days on end just to rack in a couple more hours of exploring. Then I decided to go through the story. I go through it everyone bright and happy to see me. Then on the final mission I am out of no where the worst human on the face of the earth. This completely broke the immersion that I had laid the foundation of when I played 20+ hours in just 1 file exploring everything. This has even scared me away from even finishing what I had started.

That is a cool and eye catching Thumbnail Edit: I personally didn't see this game as a stealth game I played it like one and love it. I know it's a stealth game but I just can't see it as one for some reason.

How to get rid of High Overseer Campbell: 1. Run up and kill/knock out Campbell outright, triggering Curnow to search for and/or attack you. 2. Let Curnow drink the poison. Campbell will alarm the guards to search for an assassin and put the place on lock down while he goes to his sanctuary where you'll need to find him. The shutters on the windows will be closed limiting entrance or escape. 3. Swap the poisons. Campbell will drink the poison and die while Curnow will live. An overseer will try to arrest Curnow but Curnow will fight his way out. (Unless you knock Curnow out before he can alarm the guards). 4. Poison both glasses. Guards will find the bodies and search for and/or attack you. 5~. Break the glasses. Campbell will lead Curnow into his sanctuary. If you attack too soon, see 1. If you wait you can: 5a. Let Campbell Kill Curnow. 5b. Attack Campbell after he draws his sword, where Curnow will become non-hostile to you and escape. On top of that, at any point where Campbell isn't killed, you can brand him with the heretics mark after knocking him out. The point is, there's a crap ton of thought that went into this game.
