Thanks for the video so much info that most do not even know about. Also I had to play back the part where you talk about the older washing powder being stored under the “DAM” not with an N LOL… under the DAMP sink. I thought the first time you said dam, abd it caught me off guard, I thought it was the funniest thing. Then I said no SEARS would not allow this. I had to play back again then I understood what you actually said. Gave me a good laugh though!!

My Dishwasher is the same as the one in the video. What is the model number of this one? I cannot find a model number on mine. It is filling up with water but not washing the dishes, so i think the motor went out. i can't find the correct motor without the model number. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I've tried all of this and still my dishwasher isn't working properly. It fills with water but some dishes are dry which you'd think is a clogged sprayer but they are not clogged so....now I'm stumped lol
@searspartsdirect4 жыл бұрын
Spray arms in some dishwashers won't provide good spray coverage unless the spray arm rotates. Check for proper spray arm rotation. To check for spray arm rotation, note the orientation of the spray arms then start the dishwasher. After the dishwasher fills and starts spraying water through the spray arms, crack open the dishwasher door to stop the cycle. Wait a few seconds then open the door fully and check the orientation of the spray arms. If a spray arm is remains in the same position, it may not be rotating. Close the door and restart the cycle. Stop the dishwasher in the same manner and check spray arm orientation after waiting for various intervals between checks. If you're certain that a spray arm isn't rotating, remove the spray arm and check for deposits or damage that could be preventing the spray arm from rotating. Remove any deposits and replace any damaged parts. These tips may help you resolve the problem that you're describing. If you need more help, let us know (and provide the model number of your dishwasher).

If you can’t hear any motion of water then it’s probably a motor and in that case it’s time for a new machine

The dishwasher in this video looks like the same exact one i have. I notice that the detergent comes out when that lil compartment opens sits at the bottom of the dishwasher. Is it suppose to do that?
@searspartsdirect5 жыл бұрын

@@searspartsdirect basically, the dishwasher is not cleaning like it should. On the sprayer that spins around i checked n cleared some of the little pin holes that the water comes out of. Now the 2 filters i have, one of em is a pain in the but to put back in(the one in this video thats kinda long n round).those were dirty. And it seems like it doesnt dry the dishes all the way either, they r still a little wet.
@searspartsdirect5 жыл бұрын
@@stephancobb13 Cleaning the filters may help the dishwasher clean better. If not, check water temperature as shown in the video. Low water temperature can affect cleaning and drying processes in the dishwasher. Safely adjust hot water temperature on your water heater if necessary. Keep in mind that plastic items won't dry well because they don't retain heat. Also, using rinse aid helps the dishes dry better.

My dishwasher is brand new out of the box. I’ve ran it 3 times now and the dishes look the exact same (dirty) as I put them in. I’ve rinsed them nicely, the water is coming out just fine (so it appears) and I’m using a cascade soap. Still having no luck :( Any ideas??
