Opinions or viewpoints of a person or persons of how something should be done, or what they'd like to see done. It is not something can technically say all persons who are registered with X political party share the same exact viewpoint on Y subject. Majority of registered voters with a political party have that thing in common in their lives. Many other things vary. If either party can't accept another's opinion then deal with that issue. Realize humans will have differing opinions. To overly dramatize with descriptive wording along with editorialization is a news outlets choice to do those things.
