Wow, very DeLacy focused news this week, and I'm here for it! As much as I've always loved Faulcon DeLacy, I love them even more knowing that they've enraged Sirius, who I've been trying to drive out of my home system of Leesti ever since they scammed the Prime Minister and squatted a megaship in my backyard. I'm enjoying building out and testing my shiny new Python Mk II, and am very pleased with it so far. It's good to have clarification that the Hutton record has not been taken by it, but rather remains with a *different* Faulcon DeLacy ship! I only have one point of contention with the company, but it's a big one: the absolute heresy that they call the "Cobra Mk IV", but which I call "The Shame of Faulcon DeLacy". While I support erasing that insult to the galaxy's most perfect ship from history, I do hope that they don't further compound the error by cranking out yet another abomination that implies that the venerable Jesus Ship requires improvements that somehow can't be made to the existing design without necessitating a whole new model. I mean, c'mon. They managed to upgrade the old Quirium drive, minimally upgradable Cobras our grandfathers flew into the modern modular marvels that we fly today without changing the number. Look at it this way: The Cobra Mk III only really has two minor shortcomings - a fragile cockpit canopy and the fact that it sits so low to the ground that deploying an SRV in rough, uneven terrain can be problematic. That's it. I don't think that lengthening the legs a tiny bit and reinforcing the canopy would justify calling it a new model.

Having only one ship in the game that can properly handle the new SCO seems problematic. The fact that the only way to get that ship for three months is with real world money seems downright shady.

Having bought a big pack of Arx last November, and not spending them on PJs etc in the December sale, I had enough to buy... With the devaluing of Arx purchasing power in the last week, it seemed worth it.

imagine being fleet control.. how does it feel to have to upgrade thousands x 100 fsd's in ships...... i dislike, i have over 350 engineered fsd's. it should have been an addon or an experimental....this is garbage.This is the backyard mechanic messing with big oil. and i expect sabotage is already in play. this will cause a war and sirius is big oil. looking for contracts from sirius...not the enemy you want. ask yourself why and how does LYR do %15 ? and someone wants to mess with that? the quiet rich guy is to be feared.
