Hunchback of Notre Dame was based off a book/novel, where Clopin had a much bigger part. The history is there. It is true that Disney could have gone into a little more detail in the movie though.

I lol'ed so hard when I saw Frollo in the chair insted of the asylum dude. It's hilarious that they have the same voice actor. XD The editing for this vid was superb. I especially loved the ending.

Cute vid! I love Clopin, and I think that he needs more love. I'd love to make a crossover with him, however I don't know a girl for him. I love the part when Gaston, Belle, and Clopin are in the crowd and Gaston thinks that Belle is looking at him but she's not ;) Also how you made Gaston and Frollo look like they were talking, very good!! 5/5!

Well the movie was based off of the book, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and they wanted to stay close to the orginal story line. But I do agree, Clopin is awesome and I wshed he'd had a bigger role.

Not sure if you knew this when you made the video, but the "hit man" Gaston strikes a deal with in BatB was voiced by Tony Jay, and is actually the role that got him cast as Frollo.

I agree with so many that Clopin should have had a bigger role. If only we could have seen him at least fighting for Notre Dame (and have it edited in here as though he were fighting to protect Belle~) but he just jumped out of a cage and that's it? Makes me sad. I want more Clopin action. I discovered this pairing NOT EVEN A WEEK AGO and am madly in love with it (more so that the canon BatB couple? Teh horror!!) 1) Awesome video! 2) XD I don't know if you know this, but the guy who ran the insane asylum in Beauty and the Beast was voiced by the same guy who played Frollo. So the scene where Gaston's supposed to be talking to asylum guy but then it cuts to Frollo is mildly funny. :)

Clopin isn't shown enough in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. He had soooo much potential as a character, and the director just used him as a narrator! That makes me mad. I wish he had a larger part. He probably would have had an interesting background. :)
