We Cruise Disney without kids, and absolutely love watching the interactions between the kids and characters, and dance parties in the atrium! The cove adults only area is absolutely amazing, and the bars on the bigger ships like fantasy really incredible.

About to cruise Disney for my 7th time with just my mom and husband. I’ve cruised with and without my child and as an adult and a child myself. Disney has always been worth it. I’ve done a few Royal Caribbean cruises and they just do not compare. The food, service, shows, and the ships themselves by far surpass Royal. The attention to detail in every single thing Disney does it just mind boggling. Disney has never ever disappointed me!

Definitely prefer to go to the restaurants rather than the buffets on cruise ships. Buffets have their place on embarkation and shore excursion days but otherwise definitely the sit down options Really enjoy your videos, especially during these times when we are still unable to travel. I am a single mom. I book the Disney Cruise as soon as the schedule is released and put down a deposit. I book at least a year in advance. I then pay towards the trip monthly (no interest) through my travel agent. It’s makes the cruise affordable and it is worth every penny.

Full price they are so expensive but always check their Special Offers section. You can find cruises starting around $400 plus tax/fees. You can put a deposit down and don't have to pay the rest until later on.

When we’ve done the cost breakdown of how much we’d pay on average for a hotel, the Broadway style Disney shows, the multi course dinners, all of the other meals, seeing movies, etc. it is a great value to us. We tried Carnival and hated it! It sold us on sticking with Disney.

I've just done the exact cruise from tilbury 2 nights. I think if you love Disney and want to experience the Disney magic then it's worth it. My daughter loved it and u can't put a price of the smiles and memory you capture with them enjoying Disney magic. But...if ur not fused about Disney the of course it's not worth it, their is much better value on other better cruise ships. U pay for the Disney magic and if that's what u love then it's worth it.

Regarding the shops on the Disney ships - SO much fun stuff to buy! And it`s all GOOD stuff, usable stuff and the variety seems to be incredible! I WISH other cruise lines would take a hint from Disney and do better with their shops! I`m a Celebrity cruiser and the “fun, usable” stuff in shops is getting less and less. They cater to another class of people with their fancy watches, jewelry, handbags, etc. For me, shopping for souvenirs(branded or not) is part of the cruise and when they continue to take these kinds of shops out, I think they are shooting themselves in the foot and missing out on ALOT of sales (my opinion only)!!!!!

There are lots of great features on the DCL ships, but you won't convince me that it is worth double the price of other lines. I've done 30 DCL cruises thru the years, and have see the prices rise and fall and the food quality improve and go downhill. The thing that DCL does better than any other line I've been on is entertainment. But we've reached the point where we think about why we are doing a particular trip and which line is best for that cruise. For instance, Alaska is all about the wildlife and scenery. We spent 2 weeks in the lowest level suite on Princess with all the cruise perks for the price of one week in a standard balcony cabin on the Disney Wonder. I will admit to a sigh when the Wonder passed us going the other direction as we were sitting in the specialty restaurant on Princess. On the other hand, doing a Trans-Atlantic, it is all about the ship and the cruise. Those cruises on DCL used to be a bargain, but they've been "discovered" and the prices are now high. My other complaint about DCL is that some of the "adult only" areas are much better enforced than others. Palo and After Hours are very strict, and the spa is nearly as strict. However, the Cove Cafe and the adult pool area are not; children regularly come thru the area either just walking or skating thru or come to talk to parents. Mine was taught that she couldn't walk thru that deck--take the elevator or stairs to a different level to pass thru. I don't hate kids, but there are so many on a DCL ship that it is easy to be over-run by them. Adult only should mean exactly that--no kids in this area.

Thank you guys for the videos! I have been on many cruise lines and unless you are a Disney lover I do not believe that the Disney cruise is worth the money. Actually, in general over the years, the cost of the Disney experience has become quite pricey and with so many other entertainment options it has lost its “magic”. Overall I definitely enjoy the sit down meals rather than any Buffet on any cruise line. My most recent two cruises in the last month, they don’t even enforce hand washing or hand sanitizing before entering the Buffet. 😢

Disney purposely makes the WiFi expensive to encourage people to disconnect and enjoy. The price of Disney, yes it is high, but the quality of what you get is amazing. We’ve never been disappointed but we like other cruise lines too. Great video gentleman!

I always feel like the drinks are a great value on a Disney cruise. Most of the standard drinks on deck were never over $7-$8. They did have lots of premium spirits that were more, but you could def get many drinks for around that range. Don’t forget the drink of the day which is always $5.50 Some of the bars have some really premium drinks that are more in the $10-$13 range, but those all use incredibly top shelf spirits

As you definitely like to show the food , there's something that I would like to raise that applies to all the cruise lines when it comes to cakes and pastries, the total lack of options available for people who are lactose/dairy intolerant. Why does everyone insist on making everything with butter when there are alternatives? So many of us passengers are missing out. The pastries at breakfast, the desserts in the self service restaurant, the cafe bars to name a few. Please can the cruise lines remember that a huge amount of people can't take dairy and start to cater for us too ?

We went on the Christmas cruise on the Disney wonder. Being on a Disney cruise ship on Christmas Day was mind blowing. One of the best experiences of our life. We have 2 kids (6 and 8 at the time, our son just turned 7) and we all had such a great time!

My daughter worked at Disney World in Florida as an intern and I can tell you Disney has the BEST marketing department. Really smart people in their marketing department as evidenced by the Adult areas. And it was amazing how many interns decided to stay on as employees after the intern period, my daughter was not one of them thank God. But one of her apartment mates decided to say on and go to Disney Tokyo as Jasmine. Hell, bring the kiddies to Keys, they need to grow up sometime. Really great food and fun. Thanks for taking us along…I love DCL …been on 17 cruises…the Magic is definitely my favorite ship…have been on her 13 times sailings to the Mediterranean, Iceland , the Baltic’s and the Caribbean…my next DCL cruise is not until the Maiden voyage of the Wish…after watching this video I may have to book the Magic out of Miami soon.. The one thing that has disappointed me is the change to the Palo menu..it was so nice when it was one charge and you could order as much as you want.

Just catching up on some of your older videos and just read the comments. Damn, some people must not watch your videos before commenting. So many said they wouldn’t cruise with Disney because they didn’t want to be surrounded by screaming children when your video specifically showed all the places you could go and thing you could do in the adult only areas and there was not a screaming or unruly child in your video. I’m single without kids but I think some people have this twitchy reaction anytime kids are mentioned. Before I went on Royal Caribbean I heard horror stories of kids running up and down the halls banging on doors and generally screaming and being out of control on the Lido but when I went last December I didn’t see any of that and there were kids around. If there kids were yelling around the Lido deck you couldn’t hear them over the band. ;) That having been said, like you, I stuck to the adult-only areas and travelled when school was in session and didn’t have any problems with kids. There were kids around but overall they were no worse behaved than the adults and most people were pretty respectful. My one thought when watching your video is that if I were a parent with kids and I went a Disney cruise mostly for the sake of my kids, I might not appreciate so many areas being off limits to kids. But I’m not in that position so I don’t know what actual parents think. I would think Disney is expensive for parents of young kids to spend at a time in their life when their earnings are not that high yet but their expenses related to raising children are going through the roof. I wouldn’t go on Disney simply because even with the sophisticated way they do the branding in the adult areas it’s still too much branding. RC almost has too much overt branding for me but I can tolerate it. And also the lack of a drinks package and expensive bad internet makes it not work for me for that price. Great video guys!
