I think it’s ridiculous for people to say you guys were “overly critical” of your experience because it was free. Are Jen and Tim supposed to lie JUST because the cruise was free? I’ve been planning a Disney cruise for a while and I’m very thankful that they say it like it is and tell us the truth about their experiences. That doesn’t make them ungrateful, it makes them trustworthy in my eyes.

You make an excellent point @airbaby26 Telling Tim and Jen that they are being "Overly Critical" for a "Free Cruise" is tantamount to saying that the Cruise line should be able to "Buy" a good review. The fact that Tim and Jen appeared to give their own honest opinions no matter who is asking or paying is one of the things that makes me trust their opinions. If they had done anything else, it would have made them dishonest, and I shake my head at people who want them to be dishonest.

Agreed, while they got the cruise for 'free', they were working the whole cruise, they created a very effective 5 hour ad for Disney Cruises with close to 2 million views,. Very very cheap ad for Disney to pay for, they should be paying the Trackers more. Producing the amount of content that they do for Disney is very hard work. This isn't like they won the cruise. Disney gave them the cruise knowing they would create all of this content

Without question Disney, Universal, and other Orlando things should be the focus but I think occasional trips to other tourist spots would make for good video series. I’d love it if you guys made it to my home state of Wisconsin and went to Wisconsin Dells in the summer. ☀️🏊‍♂️🧀

Everyone realizes that Disney paid for the cruise because they knew you would give a fair and honest account of the trip, which you've done. That's all Disney can ask for and expect to get. I see no reason why they don't end up having you go another one, once they make the necessary changes to the things you two didn't like ;-) Had you said "OMG we loved every little thing Disney did", we would know you were being disingenuous. You two should be over a million subscribers by now, you deserve it.

Great video series guys. What a deal this was for Disney. For $3K they got significant advertising value. These videos will likely hit 500K views before spring break. The ability to show Jen, who appeared extremely afraid of cruising, having a great time and wanting to go back is probably worth 10X to Disney. That seems to be a constant worry. It was for my mom. But she had a similar response to Jen. It was fun to see Jen’s 180 on the issue. I suspect DCL will offer up some more dates based on the success of the videos and the quality/authenticity of your review. If you do any future cruise videos here are some topics I would recommend: 1) Logistics of parking at port: fees, how early to get there, parking at nearby resorts. 2) What time should one pick to board the ship 3) What to carry on vs check 4) What is there to do before your room is ready 5) What deck should to pick for your room 6) More cruise exclusive merch on the ship --there seems to be a ton 7) Are there too many kids for an adults only cruise 8) Review of events other than character meetups 9) Review of the ports and excursions… which ones to skip… should I even get off the ship at some of them… the immediate ports seem like cookie cutter tourist traps… how do I get an authentic experience 10) Dream class ships vs Magic… too big/too many people 11) DCL vs another company… is it worth the premium? We always seem to go with Disney because we have kids, are not into the vegas vibe, and trust Disney to consistently deliver on a quality experience 12) What did you guys think of the rain forest experience… would you do that again. Should you wait for a deal on the spa during the cruise? 13) Doing parks before & after cruise… is that too much or does that help with getting excited for the cruise or missing it 14) How long of a cruise should you pick for your first… or subsequent… what is the ideal first cruise 15) Cool places to take photos on the ship with your family/party 16) Review of the live music 17) Value proposition of the cruise vs parks with food and hotel stay. The cruise has a sticker shock, but it always comes in close to doing the parks for a similar duration when you add tickets, food, and hotel. At $4 a water/coke in the parks, a family of 4 could pay for the cruise in drinks alone :). It is a shame you missed the shows. We saw Aladdin on Broadway and on one of the ships. The ship was about 80% of production value of the the play, but the NYC trip was as much as an entire 4 night cruise in NOV or FEB. Completely understand that most of the items will require multiple cruises to address… oh well, such is life... I am sure you are up to the challenge. Disney Cruise Line Blog does a great job covering a lot of these issues in their podcast, which is good for pre-cruise research in the future ;), but they don’t have the vlog locked like you guys do. Also, you have a very different vibe to your show. Again, great job. I appreciate your time and investment in your channel.

I didn’t feel like you guys were too critical. We’ve been on 4 DCL cruises (our 5th Cruise next month) and the reality is that different people have different levels of enjoyment and it’s helpful to see all of those perspectives. These are vacations that people spend thousands of dollars on and spend months (and sometimes years) planning, and they need to see the reality of these experiences. For us, we enjoy the food on DCL, we love Serenity Bay, yet we 100% understand that not everyone shares those same thoughts. So bummed you guys didn’t get to see any of the shows. We love them! I will say, we have been enjoying each cruise more and more as we learn what we love and want to dedicate our time to. Our 4th Cruise was better than our 1st, and I imagine they just keep getting better and better. 😀 As far as cost, it’s totally possible to do this relatively affordable. We’re on the 5 night Marvel Day at Sea next month and it’s just the two of us and we spent less than $3K for our stateroom, which we felt was awesome! Also, we get destroyed in the comments every time we say “boat” on our cruise vlogs. Welcome to the club! 😂

Hey Tim and Jenn! Just an FYI, if there is every a time when you are in the room relaxing and you aren't going to the theater to see the shows during dinner time, there is the option to watch the shows on your TV from your stateroom. Disney does that for people that are unable to make it to the theater in case of not feeling well, resting, kids being cranky etc. I hope you guys do go on another cruise

First of all you deserve anything that Disney or Universal studios offers you. Tim and Jenn do so much for their bottom line. We went to Discovery cove in September and did Sea World and aquatica. Purchased passholder Florida tickets all by your suggestion. You are the best travel agent for Orlando ,we love all your videos especially when Tim went to the skeleton Museum or any out of the norm places. It's obvious that you two are beneficial to Disney as well. My wife and I own a travel agency and plan mostly Disney vacations for our clients. Like they said they didn’t have that much time to pre plan. Had they done that all the spa services are actually listed on the Disney Cruise site and you can actually book them there. This service was $475 for a couple and 18% gratuities will be added to the total would hav been 560 plus they said they tipped another 18% on top of that which is super nice but totally not necessary. So yes that would have put them at $600 for that service. The individual one is $199 plus 18% gratuities, but the massage isn’t as long and not as many options for the type of massage. I’m getting this service in a couple of weeks. It’s listed on the Disney Cruise site. So no they did not accidentally get charged per person. Yes, they didn’t hear it correctly or read it through but it’s still a really nice service. And everything is listed on the site if you have questions or if you have a travel agent it’s even great to ask them about these services as well and they can give you a total cost. ☺️👍🏻🚢

If you look at the top of the Navigator they tell you how to dress up for dinner each night. It’s not a guessing game as to how to dress for dinner. Also, another tip- whenever you order a drink from a waiter the gratuity is automatically added to your total. You only write a tip amount if you want to give an extra tip.

On the contrary, the fact that you two were open and honest about things that underwhelmed you and still seem to really want to go on another cruise assures me that in the end a Disney cruise is worth the investment. It's constructive criticism people, it's ok. Even as someone who's been on cruises before, I've learned a lot from you guys about how to prepare for a Disney cruise. I really appreciate it. I don't want you guys to have any buyers remorse about your massage because even though it was a big splurge it's a memory that you'll have forever. That number hurts and how it was charged is probably frustrating but that's all dollars and cents. The time spent relaxing, the time you spent together, the sights you saw, the feelings you experienced, the indulgence... that's all priceless. Don't feel bad you guys. You deserve it. I do agree that they should give their true opinion but that hasn't been our experience on Disney Cruises. On our last one on the Fantasy I had what our server recommended each night and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. They certainly are better than any restaurants we go to where we leave.

I’m glad you clarify in the comments about the price of the cruise because $6000 is a lot for 5 days. We are booked on a Star Wars Cruise in Feb for 7 days and have a deluxe veranda room and it was only $4800 with pre paid tips, cruise insurance, Disney bus service round trip, and a night at Hyatt MCO pre cruise. We are so excited about our cruise in 5 weeks! This is our 3rd Disney. Raise!

I second this! And since you like coffee go to Ohori's, coffee in general will keep you warm during that time of the year in NM. Going early in the morning I felt was better than the evening because of the possible afternoon rain showers.

I think that your honesty in your reviews is helpful. It gives those of us that might also be first-timers anywhere that you have reviewed an idea of what you felt was good or bad so that we can have an idea of what we might expect. Granted everyone has their own perceptions, but it is still so helpful to have a base-line to go off of. It also alerts us to areas that we might need to plan a little better or things we might want to avoid. I thiink it also is helpful to Disney and any other entertainment based entities to hear both the positivie and the less than positive so that they can look at areas to focus on to improve or use to build on.

I like the paper Navigators better than the app. I bring a highlighter and each night I highlight the next days activities that we want to do. We have never been on a disney cruise yet, We really want to do one but its so expensive and we can do more days at disney world then a few days on a cruise so we are going back and forth with this. Our boys love that marvel blanket. We Have been watching a lot of videos on the cruise lately. Maybe in a few years we will do one. But it looks like you guys had a blast. Haven’t been able to do Oasis class yet, but loved our RCL cruises. Not sure how the food compares to the Disney cruise, but really enjoyed that part of the RCL cruise.

I have never really been attracted to a cruise but having seen the Disney cuise experience I have most definitely changed my mind - especially as Jen wasnt too sure about it at the beginning and seeing how she seemed to enjoy the trip that has put my own reservations to rest. again thank you for a very entertaining and informative series.

Just returned from a first time Disney cruise and must say your review was spot on! please stay legit to your viewers and stay critical In your reviews,,, and It is, what it is! this is the reason why I always come back to watching your videos prior to traveling to the entertainment capital of Florida. Had watched your video prior to the trip. And you Guy's where the only ones in all the video's that straight faced gave their honest opinion rather then being influenced to give false information to future paying travelers regardless of it being free to you! so thanks!
