Disney Very Merrytime Cruise Week! | Embarkation Day, Animator's Palate Dinner & TV Trivia!

In today’s vlog we begin Disney Cruise Week!! This is a very special cruise because it’s the first Very Merrytime Cruise of the year! This is also a 5 day cruise which we will be sailing to Nassau and we’ll have 2 stops in Castaway Cay! We couldn’t be more excited! We start the day with our safety procedures before we can board the ship. Then we head to the room and get settled before heading to the pool deck for a quick bite before dinner. We had dinner at Artist’s Palate and then head back to get Jackson to bed. We have a friend with us who was helping with Jackson so we were able to do some exploring around the ship once Jackson went to sleep. We tried our luck at TV Theme Song Trivia and then just took a little late night stroll before heading back to bed. We had a bit of rough seas this night but it wasn’t too bad, we didn’t have any sea sickness and I think it helped us to sleep a little better on this first night. All in all we had an AMAZING day!! Love the in-room birthday surprise that Tim ordered for Jackson and Jenn! Disney always sets those up so magically. And I think it’s really nice that the Trackers have a close friend that they trust to be Jackson’s nanny. That’s so great.

For the future, most CVS and pharmacy locations offer free covid tests as long as you schedule an appointment. I heard you mention how his was $175, but I’ve used a CVS and it was free. Figured I’d let you guys know!

LOL at Dumbo's butt being on the back of the ship - how cute is that? The ship is so gorgeous, decorated for Christmas! My only Disney cruise was about 12 years ago, on the Wonder, only 3 nights, and it was in early December, and the ship was decorated for Christmas, so this brings back nice memories. "Did I do that?" is easy - Urkel, from Family Matters. Very cool fat about the life boats, Tim, thanks! Since you guys spend so much time together, I think you'd KILL at "Match Your Mate"!! Best way to show ship list is a ball on the floor or a toy with wheels. I think they didn’t use the balancer system yet as it compensates any move the ship makes. It’s like weather ball for a ship.

Those seas are calm. When we sailed on the Disney Magic in January of 2020 the seas were so rough that they drained half the pool , closed it, and it was still sloshing out on the deck.

I was on the second merrytime cruise on the fantasy and watching this I fun because I can recognize some of the entertainment staff which is cool. Your Tv Trivia Host AJ was our favorite cast member he was super fun

Yes! They had to get special permission for the lifeboats. Also, we learned (while on Disney Dream), that they searched for the right kind of blue...they wanted it to be a classic cruising style.. for the ship's hull. So one day they found these slacks on this woman... and the color is named after her... Monica Blue! :) Fun facts!! :)

Hi guys, we're big fans from NC but have figured out, we were in our RV at Jetty Park on your embarkation day and actually watched the Fantasy leave that afternoon from shore. It was indeed very windy that day. Cant imagine how rough it was on the ship. Check out Jetty Park campground on the South side of the inlet next time. Folks love to gather and watch the ships leave. We just got off a cruise. We called the shaking water the Jurassic Park special effect. We had this the first day of our cruise when the seas were a bit rough. Our cruise only had 900 guests with over 1200 crew. It was wonderful.

The day I’m watching this was the day I left my five night Disney cruise on the magic 4 years ago and I’m so jealous I really wanna go on one again but it seems like such a hassle right now but I’m hoping soon lol it was so nice because I got to stay in a concierge room and the cruise was Christmas themed although some days it got a little chilly so I would love to go when it’s a little warmer but I just really miss it😩
