Disney Grand Floridian Staycation Day 2! | Splash Pad Pool Fun + EPCOT Dinner & Fireworks Are Back!

Today's vlog is day 2 of our Disney Bucket List staycation at the Grand Floridian! We had a great morning, we started with some room service breakfast, which was so awesome! The service at the Grand Floridian is just amazing. All of the cast members went above and beyond and the breakfast was delicious. It was a pretty rainy morning but once there was a break in the weather we headed down to the pool and splash pad area for a little fun with Jackson. He loved the slides at the splash pad and we loved the slide in the main pool. We grabbed a quick lunch from Gasparilla Island Grill, which was also really good! They even had a super cute flamingo dessert. We had a little time before Tim needed to head out to EPCOT for the fireworks so we explored the lobby and gift shops. We were searching for a picture frame to commemorate our stay. Another amazing cast member found one for us and even customized it, we'll show it the check out day vlog. Then Tim heads to EPCOT for dinner and fireworks and I stay back at the room and put Jackson to bed. I ordered some room service for dinner and watched Happily Ever After the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our balcony, while Tim watched the EPCOT Forever fireworks. It was such an awesome day! So the reason that spaceship earth “leaks” like that. When they designed and made the spheres they had to account for rain and so the entire thing underneath is drainage, where it is later put into the lake! The more you know!

Just a suggestion. When you are buying toiletries like baby shampoo, buy two of what you are buying. Keep one in your and place the other one in a bag or place directly in the suitcase. You will always have it packed.

I thought the same but at the end of the day Tim is the one who films and stuff, like even before they had Jackson, and Jen is the one who edits. This is not really for fun (vlog) as much as it is fun to do, but it’s their job mainly hahaha so it is that way and has been!🤔

Tim is the primary vlogger and Jenn is the editor. It’s his 1st job to do the shooting and coverage of everything. Jenn then puts it together. Yes, he can give her some “me” time but… you have to realize that they are doing their “jobs.” Also, you can clearly see that Jenn loves to be with Jackson as much as possible. I’d chill with telling them what they should do with their lives.

I think some of you wanna be considerate towards Jen, which is good but I just wanna remind people it’s been like this since before Jackson was even conceived, Tim is the one who vlogs really, the one who goes to parks alone since forever, and Jen is the one who edits. Like the videos are fun and all, the activities are so fun but it’s their job and for example the last video Tim went to the media thing for the re opening of Happily Ever After. Just saying, it’s more of a work team, not that Jen neeeeeds to stay with Jackson because she is the mom, as I’ve seen people said🤔 She happens to be the editor.

What a lucky boy, to have parents who LOVE Disney. I went yearly as a kid, but my parents could care less about Disney. It was just convenient to my uncles house, and we visited them every year, and THEY were Disney fans. I have loved WDW my whole life, but even more so as an adult. I appreciate the art, the theming, all the small details much more as an adult.

When we ordered room service for breakfast at the GF, they gave us our own toaster so our toast wouldn’t be cold. We were so impressed, such a little extra special treatment they do at this beautiful hotel. We did laugh at our excitement over a toaster!

Loving this staycation series!!! We always stayed at the Contemporary when I was a kid 1st in 1974 and my most recent with my hubby in 2017 but I love hearing the boat horns because they are the same. That water parade just like it was when I was a kid. I so want to come back next year, that place is so magical
