Interesting how many animators convince big stars to join the movie by animating the character to something the actor did. Disney did that with Robin Williams for Aladdin and Don Bluth even did that with Meg Ryan for Anastasia.

Toy Story 2 is the best and I don't care what anyone says. You cannot see the When She Loved Me scene and tell me that it is not one of the most heartbreaking and emotional movie scenes of all time. They were considering cutting the scene but when Tim Allen & Tom Hanks saw it in a preview they cried and convinced Pixar to keep it.

Toy Story is a huge part of our family. We had to watch it on repeat with my little sister, then my nephew (10 years later) and now my own daughter. I can literally repeat every line. Thank you for choosing this movie!

I live in the Bay Area where Pixar is King. I have been lucky enough to visit my friends that work at the studio a few times. Wow! What a treat. I love all their films and admire their work on the imaginative storylines. My two favorites are Bugs Life and UP. Both are fantastic and I love the emotional pull of the lead characters. Thanks for your vlog.

I'm so happy you did Toy Story. I teach 2nd grade and we watched Pixar clips each day this week because they are FANTASTIC for inferencing. We actually watched Tin Toy today!

Toy Story is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I have wonderful memories of my entire family, half sister included, going to see it in theaters and my mom scolding my dad for laughing so loudly throughout the whole thing! He loved it and he was in his 30's!

Toy Story 2 makes me sad when I watch it because the girl that gives Jessie away is named Emily and my name is Emily. That whole scene in the movie hit me so hard that I vowed to never get rid of my Jessie doll! The song "When she loved me" also makes me cry everytime!! The power of Pixar is literally too real!!

I love how you do your research and all the passion you have behind each video! I have watched this about 6 times now bc I still can't believe what how much I didn't know lol! I'd love to see Finding Nemo for more Pixar, or the black cauldron because I know it'd be so interesting. As for favorite toy story movie, its gotta be toy story 3 because it came out in my junior year of high school when the thought of going away to college and growing up was terrifying and intimidating. Plus I know the PU on andy's wall is supposed to be Pixar University, but it could also be Purdue University where I go, so that makes me happy!

The Black Friday Reel was when Woody was all mean-spirited. He threw Buzz out the window on purpose and didn't care at all and everyone criticized him. And I believe that he was especially cruel towards Slinky. However, in the final draft, he accidentally knocked Buzz out the window while trying to temporarily hide him and was horrified at what he did. Hamm and Potato Head were especially critical, while Bo and Slinky believed that he was innocent and Rex didn't know who to side with. But fortunately, Woody got Buzz back to the gang and everyone who accused him of murder was guilty.
